We just lost Don Cornelius a few days ago to a tragic suicide. What a shame. Soul Train just reminds me of a wonderful time in my life that I keep in my heart and watching this makes me so happy. Alright, this is bothering me. The guy that fell, I'm 90% sure it was intentional and part of their routine. The woman exaggerates her left arm movement (when she "hits" him). Look at their outfits - similar shirts, jeans, and their boots are almost identical. I don't think it was a random pairing. The only reason she flinched a bit when he fell was because his left leg kicked her a little bit when he fell. She didn't even flinch when he tackled her at the end.
@snuggl3s I believe he actually slipped (look at his face when he's on the floor) plus he didnt break into a dance when he got up he just played it off by tackling her..(her face was like.."oh well") then they cut them off.
At second look, I think she got mad because he brushed up too close to her and you see it in her face that she tried to dance and swipe him back at the same time. Remember, most of the people were not "couples" and didn't know each other- just waited in line until it was their turn to dance with someone of the opposite sex.
Did anyone else realize at :24, dude slipped and busted his ass but because since Brothers are so smooth on the floor, he made it look cool and it nearly goes unnoticed but the first girl in line noticed it!
Do U have the Soul Train Line where the guy all in white comes down the line to this same song? It may have been a different episode but filmed the same day possibly.
