I remeber seeing this one when I was a kid and this brings back so many good memories. :)

I owned both the video and the book as a kid and I remember being confused as to why "Dolores" was named Maria in the book - at the time I couldn't think of why they'd make it different :p

The one part that's stuck out in my memory all these years is the part when she falls and Big Bird's worried voice when he says "Aww Dolores! Are you hurt?" lol I remember thinking it was "Golores" XD

Thanks for the upload! Until now the last time I saw this was on VHS in something like 1996. Great memories :)

@Jianlibao I was also originally confused about the Maria/Dolores thing, too. And I always thought Maria/Dolores's falling effect was pretty darn funny!

In the original book version, Big Bird gives away his purple iris before the last two flowers, but in the video version, he saves the purple iris for last. Also, Dolores was named Maria in the book, but for the video they changed it due to the absence of Sonia Monzano to do the voice (Fran Brill took her place).
