Man. What a great game...I have to go and play it now. I don't know what it was that set it apart from the sequels, but the first prime was pretty special. Anyway, well done.

Its because the other 3 are almost similar to the first game. I see that as a good thing :)

can someone tell me how to get the special missle for the ice beam? the one where you use the charge beam for the ice gun and the missle at the same time?

In magmoor caverns, there is a room with a "glass" bridge, that is all broken. Use a Power Bomb there and drop down.

the #1 thing i HATE about this game is the chozo ghosts... omg THEY took 4ever to kill with out the xray. man i havent played the game in SOOOOO long, and the last time i played, i got about 70% of the game done, and got to phazon mines, i couldnt get to the area were u get the next item. i think its called the central dynamo. i always die wen im almost there

visit metroid2002 (dot) com and you'll learn a trick. Getting early space jump is a best start for speed run. I'll try to make video about this soon.

I've heard you can use a seedling to dash to that ledge and get the space jump. You know, the ones on the way to the artifact temple.

This Jump works only in usa ver i tried it 1000x times

In my eyes only the monster focus jump works

I think you can only do that in certian versons..either that, or your timings off.
