It's really incredible to see this footage of Eric and the original lineup after all these years. Glad the video survived and really appreciate it being posted. But it's sort of like false advertising as the band isn't mentioned even once in the entire book. Millennium, which was owned by Casablanca, is mentioned numerous times, as was Angel, but not one single mention of the Godz (who certainly had stories worth telling.) Why?
@capt510 Eric Moore is from Columbus, and still lives here. Sat back stage at a concert last fall on the East side.He is the only original member. Mark Chatfield was from Grove City I do believe.I can't begin to remember how many times I've seen these guys play.Chatfield left the band and started "Rosie"Back in the late 70's.You must understand I am 52 now and everything from back them is a Blure
Shot at the Rite Place bar in Bayonne, NJ on the corner of 18th St and Ave E. I had lived on 17th St and saw the shoot. I had the first Godz album but was a bit nervous to ask for autographs. Rumors were one of the chicks posed naked on the pool table but I think that was more wishful thinking than fact. Bar has been closed for 15years but new owners are renovating it and turning into a rock and roll venue. Great band!
The Godz: This is an excerpt from the original 1979 Casablanca Records promo film for "He's A Fool" by The Godz. Sadly, this is all we have of this wonderful music video; if anyone has a full copy please let us know as we are trying to reacquire several "lost" Casablanca Records film and videotape elements. See our Web site for more details.
Well as far as i know. there is no live footage of either the godz or angel with sound. there is some angel 8MM but no live godz at all. Man i would love to see the whole clip. maybe some live shots? this is truly a miracle. i feel like im 16 again.
that sure would be swell if we could see the entire thing. the godz and angel are 2 bands that there appears to be no live video of them with sound on stage playing from the 70's. what a shame.
Yes, full videos existed for both this and the Angel clip, at one point and we're in the early stages of tracking down the master tapes now for both clips.

So, as far as Angel goes, whatever happened to the live film they were supposed to release back in the 70's? Or did I dream that?
