  • I've been looking for East Siberian Laika. Are there any breeders in the US? I've seen West Siberian Laika, but I want the ESL.

  • @Keryha I want one too, have you found one? :( x

  • @KayNAnnBeauty No, unfortunately not. If I find a breeder though I'll let you know & you do the same for me ;-)

  • @Keryha yeahh suree :) pretty sure we're going to have to import though

  • How annoying. Stressful for the dog as well as for the (tied up) bear. No need for this, if the dogs must be tested, it can be done in less stressful ways. If someone holds the dog on leash, another person may show up with another animal (whichever animal may trigger the predatory drift and can be managed on leash) on leash. They can be shown from a distance or walk by, after which both animals can go back to their own lives. This is just an accident waiting to happen.

  • @inekevanderaa the level of stupidity in comments..

  • I would have preferred some off-leash sparring myself.

I read the actual Mansi/Vogul people let em' go at it at every opportunity so as to eliminate the overly aggressive and cowardly pooches as soon as possible.

The ones that have proven themselves are quite valuable.

  • Only in Russia! lol just kiddin. east siberian laikas are awesome.

  • I feel sorry for the bear. Why is it tied up???

  • @Siggelsmun

practizing with the dog for bearhunt... the losers

  • @Siggelsmun because that bear would fling that dog about 50 feet in air

  • Lol the bear really gets annoyed by the dog
