This is how it should be done. Good tempo - poco maesteso. Please don't talk of "versions". Any fool can do a "version" and they often do. But it's not King of the Fairies. They all be cursed.
...and if you were truely honest you would sure undertand that there aint no creature..... lol sorry i couldent stop thinking of oxhorns remake, the great kodo
Would this song be in a video game? Because I remember this song from somewhere but I dont know where, I think it was either Nox, or Fate, but either way, Im pretty sure the game was an RPG like Diablo or something
John is the master. This is the definitive version of this tune which is my favorite tune of all time. Penduluus, it is in the "fiddler's fake book," but, I recorded it off the the Dubliner's CD with a small recorder that let's me slow it down. I've spent years learing it note by note. I never do that. I hate ripping off artists but, since I'm in Cleveland Ohio, USA, I doubt John knows I exist so I think I can get away with it:)
One of my absolute favorite irish songs there is, and I love this version! The day when I can play the entire thing on a tin whistle will be a joyfull one ;)
I see that Luke Kelly and Ronnie Drew are both in the search tags for this video. Where's the mention of the man of the hour? Someone had best put John Sheahan in there, show some respect! The man doesn't even get credited in his own solo...

THE state has spent more than €6.8m in the past 5 yrs on flights to send failed asylum-seekers back to their countries.
6,000 people are now classified as 'evading deportation' with only a quarter of all orders actually ever implemented.
In the past 6 yrs, justice ministers have signed close to 8,500 deportation orders fewer than 2,500 of these have ended in repatriation.
