I have actually discovered you don't have to take your matress off to put a bedskirt on :)... Go to the end of your bed and tuck in the bedskirt some and then pull the sides up. You may have to lift your matress slightyas you are pulling but it is so easier than un making your bed and taking the matress off :)

And lifting your mattress isn't that big of a deal, but this is what I did to put on my bed skirt- lift the bottom of the mattress and put the bed skirt along the bottom of the bed. Now you can drop the mattress and pull the skirt upwards. :) I hope that helps!
