Judging by the chunkiness and small screen size of that laptop, I'd hazard a guess that it's late 1990s vintage, so would probably have been running Win '95 or '98. Operating systems so unreliable it wasn't uncommon to have to periodically reinstall them on top of themselves, or, in the worst case scenario, format c: and do a 'hard' reinstall. The number of times back then I was tempted to do that to my desktop box...

There's also the software aspect of it too. Apple gives you all of these great programs standard and they all are made to work together. Garageband works seamlessly with iTunes, iMovie works with iPhoto, etc. I've used them countless times for school and leisure. With PC's you'd have to go out and purchase them separately. Plus they would not work as well (if at all) together. Furthermore, Macs are not nearly as susceptible to viruses as PC's and, in my experience, rarely crash.

@BassGuitarGuy128 Macs aren't nearly as susceptible to viruses because there's hardly any mac viruses out there because hardly anyone uses a mac. Think about it, would you spend your time writing a virus for 80% of people or 10%? If mac was as popular as windows, they'd be in the same situation.

Also your comment about programs working together seamlessly is lol. You obviously don't know how to use a computer at all.
