Nice... I also have a Bersa, but it a Bersa Thunder 9 Pro... Its barrel is a little bit longer then ur but its nice tho... Tats a nice gun tho... Where did u order it from???
i carried the 380 for about 12 yrs thought it was time to retire it so i got the 40 pro ended up putting a flashlite on it and desided to use the 40 in place of the 357 mag from under my pillow and still carrie the 380 you got a good perches
@jims72 I have a Bersa .380 and I love it. Only problems I ever had was when I tried to fire 9mm shorts in it. DON'T BELIEVE the guy behind the counter when he tells you it's the same as a .380 because obviously it's not. It would fire, but it would NOT cycle! I have had this little pistol for about 10 years now and it still gets carried everyday by my girlfriend. I used to carry it as a backup to my .40 in an ankle holster.
@edstar1972 awesome! I have been deeply considering getting the cc 380 to use for a third option.I recently bought a keltec pf9 as a backup and kinda dont like it as much as i thought, i would not say i dont like it at all but, it wasn't everything everyone made them out to be.
very nice. I had one. It shoots great and is very accurate. I now carry the full sized Bersa 9mm. It holds 16 in the mag. Congrats on your new toy. Go check out some of mine...
well i think its reasonable to draw an opinion of a product based on how the company designs the packaging for the product. Companies like Glock and Sig sauer that put a lot of craftsmanship into their pistols take more time to design the packaging. Companies like Bersa and Taurus are looking make a cost effective gun that is also of decent quality. Hence the cardboard box. Hear great things about the Bersas and the some of the Tauruses as well; but, my cell phone came in a nicer box than that!
@dene8989 The packaging has nothing to do with the gun. It's a good gun, but the first impression is just not appealing. I don't think it would cost much to make a nice little plastic box.
In fact, I own a pretty gun with pretty packaging.
Wow. I just picked up ours today but it uses a key in the side to lock the gun but no trigger lock. Unlike the Beretta PX4 Storm I bought it didn't come with a magazine loading tool. How are you loading your magazines? It's a PITA! I use the Beretta tool but want to find another tool for speed loading.
Congrats on your new self defensive handgun and thanks for sharing. I've owned mine for more than a year. Not one single problem with any ammo (ball or hollow point). Make sure you clean it well inside & out before going to the firing range.
It looks like you have to fire that pistol in single action only. As you mentioned you can barely reach the trigger. Please do a in depth video review on the pistol and how you managed to fire it. I have my 9mm UC duotone on back order since April. I can't understand why it is taking so long to come....AARRRGGG!! Well I guess good things come to those who wait. Great gun, I can't wait to get a hold on mine. Shoot with care.

Every time you call the gun a toy I rage. A gun is not a toy. Do not refer to it as a toy.

Nice gun
I hope it works for you
As for the box complaints
I agree
You'll look like an idiot carrying your cardboard boxed gun to the range
Even if it cost the company a few dollars more it's nice to have a solid case for it
Like my old Glock came in this tiny Tupperware look case
But it was a solid case
Cardboard doesn't last forever

Interested in Bersa 9 HC for wife; easy rack/operate. In compacts, I think they
shorten the barrel/grip, with other dimensions full. With shorter barrels, racking
is harder, and recoil is higher.
In some 9's (Glocks, etc) this can cause jams due to movement of the gun.
If Bersa compact is not hard to rack, and no unexplained jams,
then Bersa has something for weaker support.
A pocket 9 is not good for summer, since operation/recoil are tough.
I carry 380 in summer, unless a situation is special.

The packaging just turns me off.
How much did you pay for it?

@ustfu LOL. What does the packaging have to do with the gun. Idiot. Go buy a gun with pretty packaging.

@townandsend
The Pro 9 UC is both single & double action :) Yes, they are sometimes hard to get.
As GG has shown the firing date on the envelope is 9/8/2010 (nice number and talk about NEW).
