NG2 and NGS2 are so disappointing compared to the originals, even the intros pale in comparison. I hope NG3 is better.

I might actually buy this now. Beat the originoal one, stuck on black, and couldn't beat 2. Might get this one though.

LOL!! How far did you get on NG2?

It was on Acolyte mode, but I did reach the last chapter fighting Dagra Dai, but with only a spiritual herb and a grain, and to learn a chest got you nothing after fighting Dagra Dai's fiends (a statue would have been good), I ended up losing to the giant boss, getting blindsided by a machine gun of ghosts while being shot by the beam. Ended up sending the game back to Gamefly because beating Dagra Dai without taking damage was hard.

I heard that Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is actually a lot easier now. I really had trouble with chapters 8 and 12-14. Rest was easy, but gave up when I wasn't able to beat Dagra Dai without getting hit (one Spiritual Elixir and one Great Elixir).

Sup man. Extra story, players, co-op, bosses and what not. Yup, you're right, they cut the gore.

Less blood and much easier difficulties, but you get new weapon, 3 new playable characters, a co-op arena type mode, walk around while using arrows and gun, and infinite arrows and ammunition. It is easier, which I really don't mind and kinda prefer, but you do unlock harder difficulties.
