I came to Youtube to see some videos of this guitar (hoping that some of them would have some djent in them) and this was the first video and I think this is enough to tell me that this guitar is worth of buying. Good video.

@hideki12345 I have ordered this guitar. But im still confused between this and the RGD2127z because of the extra scale length of the RGD, although i wont be playing below drop a or drop g#. How is the intonation of the 1527z? I heard its really a pain to set up the intonation in this guitar. Is that true?

the RGD is awesome, so if you got the bucks, get it!

but if you worry about intonation problems you should really stick with non-trem guitars.

IMO the 1527z is pretty much perfect

@hideki12345 I will have to wait for 2 months to get the RGD as it is currently out of stock. But if the 1527z can give me close to perfect intonation and tuning stability at drop a or g# then im ready to go for it as i will be changing the pickups anyway.

well the bkp coldsweat is in fact a rock pickup. it was not designed for metal at all. but some people (including me) use it because of the lowgain quality and clarity. so 'd recommend the coldsweat. but you can also try dimarzio blaze, its nice too.

IMO the ux series is pretty good for the price. Id recommend going for the axefx though, but thats expensive as fuck haha.

I think a pod studio ux2 sounds much better than Boss GT-10,at least in metal sound.

believe me. the gt10 is a little pile of poopoo compared to the pod. its kicks ass in every departement ;) in this vid I am using the megashitty stock pickups. I have a coldsweat in the bridge now and the sound of pod is on almost axefx kinda level with it, except for the tube feel which the pod doesnt have.
