Your giving too much credit to MM for playing a song that MP wrote. Not trying to bash Mangini just stating the obvious. MM fanboys are as annoying as MP fanboys.
i'm not saying mangini isn't better than portnoy but you guys have to take into consideration that portnoy was the one who made this drum beat, not mangini
so it doesn't really make sense to thrash him because mangini can play his beatz
@chadsfannoone sorry,but it is! i downloaded the video and put it into Sony Vegas.if you don't know how Vegas works,it shows you the audio and the video into two separate channels. they both were the same duration but the audio channel was about 5 seconds on the right so if you had it play,you would first see the video with no sound and when it ended you would still hear the audio but no video.so i grabbed the audio channel and dragged it to the start and now they started and finished together.
@claudiodxe All they have to do is learn Neil Pearts 2112 and they can can pretty much walk in and play any of portny's parts. Portnoy was heavily heavily influenced by rush.
@crystalthedrummer I think this song drumparts is made by MP... And he has done all the teaching videos etc (since somewhere 1990's...) so MM can watch them and learn....
