Yeah this song was written by an English man. But Shane was born in England when his parents were visiting relatives at Christmas. He spent most of his young life in Tipperary. Then they immigrated to England, like alot at that time.

I got it from their new boxset "Just look them in the eye and say Pogue Mahone!", which has quite a few radio session tracks spread across the 5 discs. There's not a specific radio session disc I don't think
