  • Are you kidding what the hell is this its like if you were riding a elevator to hell this is what you would hear

  • I really like this gal, I really like the hairy armpits as well.A turn-on all around.

  • One Beautifull woman, I think its amazing how many uptight wooses there are in the world who don't have a clue.

  • whats a woman her age running in the fields all alone for?

  • Wtf !!! i was searching for the Punk rock band .. not that shit.

  • haha me too! well i clicked here from there (related search) just search Assault City Hardcore and they are one of the bands that played the ACHC fest as well as a bunch of other bands from the Syracuse area.

  • Very Good !! I feel same things !:))Just go go go...!:)

  • genius songwriter n singer

  • Damn, Wish i was your lover!!

  • Yes, she's VERY pregnant. Big belly!! I found some pics of her being pregnant on her website discussion forum and fans were talking about it as well. I have no idea who's the father. The baby may have been artificially conceived since she's currently in a relationship with a woman.

  • Don't worry, it's all good. Thanks for getting back with me. :) Loving Sophie is what it's all about. By the way, did you know she's pregnant? True.

  • Pregnant? What?!!!

  • Actually, you need to a grip and read all my comments about the issue. As I stated, her appearance does nothing to change my appreciation of Sophie or her music. If you had bothered to read a bit more that would have quickly become obvious.

  • Now, for potential new fans, that could be an immediate turn-off and they would tune her out. Superficial? Yes, but first impressions have a great effect on whether someone is going to give Sophie a chance or not. So, my thoughts were that to avoid losing a potential new fan, leave out the socially unacceptable arm pit hair and focus on the brilliant music and the 99% of the other visuals of the video. Now, can we just let this go?

  • I have done that aaaages ago.. I didn't know you were still in need to explain something. I'm totally cool with what you say, I wasn't in the mood to argue in the first place. So I never meant anything harmful, I just went on and decided to comment :) I totally understand your opinion and I respect it.

What a mess I have created... No, please tell me it wasn't me! And I'm never meaning anything bad.. Just loving Sophie! Aren't we all? Cheers to that, right?

  • who cares seriously???I love Sophie pit hair or not

  • What's there not to love? She's incredible.

  • That has been my point all the time :)

  • And the armpit hair always shares opinions. There's just so many celebrities, singers - people out there who commit to nature by showing that they've got some hair. e. g. Juliette Lewis and Julia Roberts have had their share of "gross" and "yikes" comments when stating something with the armpit hair.

  • I agree. And why take away from the artist's craft with such distractions unless it's part of their persona. I've never seen Sophie with this appearance in any other video so why now? Just sing, perform and leave out the distractions.

  • Someone (maybe you?) actually gave me a thumbs down for disliking the armpit hair? Seriously? Yes, I know Sophie is "unique" but there's also attractive and not attractive. Women with hair growing on their chest, legs, face, and armpits just doesn't help the performers image unless they think this is still the 1960's and they are going after that audience. Sophie is brilliant. There's no doubt there. So why take away from her talent by distracting the audience with armpit hair?

  • OK but the armpit hair is kinda offputting.

  • looks gross

  • Great video and song. Sophie's great.

  • I LOOOVE the armpit hair. I wish more celebrities appreciated their own beauty so much

    Congratulations

  • Agreed wholeheartedly. Also, notice how she dresses. She dons torn up jeans and oversized flannel shirts in lieu of fancy clothes and her beauty shines through more strongly than any other artist I can think of.

  • We could have done without the armpit hair. It distracts from the music.

  • Erm, we could have done without the armpit hair - but it is the whole point in my opinion. This is Sophie, remember? I think that it is important to accept the whole deal, and I love this video - it's my favourite, actually :) Where can an average person find this sort of beauty in real life? Huh..

  • Leave her alone! She want to be the way mother nature made her!

I admire her being bold enough to show it off and wish more women would 'take the plunge' and pitch the razor!

  • God, i hope your inspirations never die out. I hope for the oportunity to see you perform someday.

  • Sophie B Hawkins; I love your music!

Can we expect a new album in the near future :-) I really hope so.

  • Yes, Sophie is actually going back into the recording studio to work on a new album that hopefully should be released later in the year or early next year. I'm looking forward to it.

  • she's fantastic, her work is fantastic! and her website and character and love of nature are just wonderful -- will always support this artist, you're awesome! and all the very very best to you!!!! (have a feeling she's sitting on a bunch of new songs and can't wait to hear them, all the best, siaviz

  • Sophie B. Hawkins it's a GREAT artist!

  • nice

  • Awesome lyrics - so damn smart! Great melodies, and quirks in the background - I simply love that. This is Hawkins' best song IMHO. So f***ing great! =D

  • I love this song. I love how much emotion Sophie puts into her vocals. I sense a touch of Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin, and Carley Simon in her, which is amazing. This music has gotten me through hard times.

  • Brilliant video Sophie - though if that had been shot in the UK one would have thought the song and video was a subtle (and necessary) poke at our public train service!

Joking asides - one of the most beautiful tracks you've done!

  • most beautiful train tracks too. I'm retarded.

  • GREAT

  • god i love sophie, everything about her is just so refreshing.

  • she has a tomboyish thing about her

  • Great song. Yeah?! Heaven becomes hell during creation(now).

  • Ever make stuff?

  • Hi, Sophie! It's been a while, but I just want you to know that I haven't forgotten about you, and that I think you're a true talent.

  • kind of refreshing! much better than most of today's crap! beautiful tune and deeply heartfelt singing! nice! I also like the images of nature that match a certain feeling of elation!

  • like the tune ! an other clever video !

  • I love that she grew out the hair under her arms...it really looks gorgeous.

  • LOL - rude boy!

  • I like it! I can see you are just completely yourself, and not a made-person. It is very nice to see someone put her soul in her music. The song is very nice. Well done!

  • love anything that sophie does; but this is my fav :)

  • She is beautiful. I really like the shape of her chin/lower jaw line. When she raises her head to stretch the skin under the jaw as flat as possible, nothing is more attractive to me than that.

  • dear gods those hairy arms are beautiful.

  • enjoyed*

  • Good music. Ideal for a peaceful moment.

    Really enjoy.

  • I really like this video & I know the parrot was having fun! I wish you would do a cello solo.
