hi yall, this is V.I.B.E., we’re two 15 year olds who make mind confuzzling electronic hip hop music with melodic robotic inspiration from Linkin Park and lyrical spiritual inspiration from Eminem. If you are curious as to what we are talking about, check out our channel :D
I really dont feel like they made the change in order to be accepted by the mainstream audience because the new sound is still far far away from a mainstream sound. I think they felt that they needed to move forward as a band and wanted a sound change.
Although i do very much miss their old sound and their roots, i thouroughly enjoy the electronic sound. It fits their voices very well.
@armada113 Yeah, changing their style to be mainstream probably isn't likely. I think they quit the label because of it and went indie. It's too bad for me though, cuz electronica ain't my thing. But atleast Mike's still rapping, he's got a talent for that.
This song is awesome. And I understand what its trying to say if you don't kow what its trying to say then you're sad.But seriously awesome song*If you ever run away* best song ever.BTW they never finished the song in this video lol
@wiz4000111 Out of the first, point of impact, rampage and paradise, burnout 3 was my favorite. I though it had the best crash mechanisms. That's whats up. This is so far my favorite song. This and flight of the birds. Both short and long versions.
i can understand were ppl that say that they "hate This song" come from.. me myself finding this some from birnout 3 were the were completlyy undergroup and virtually unherdof (that the were like 3-5 videos of there song floating around youtube) i fell in love to there first album but when i herd some of there new works i myself was disappointed.. i truly thought (and hope) the these guys wouldn't fall to the mainstream pop trap takes so make good rock bands... dont get me wrong i loved a
a couple of there new works like "i think you got ahead of me", "Lines in my face" but when i hear then sing "sometimes" and "always and forever"... really c'mon thats a hard pill for us to shallow for fans that were around near the beginning.. dont get get my wrong i did gave there new stuff a try and only found like 15% worth wearing the rest was pretty much either bad remix's when the original was 50times better eX "rocket science" have u guys hurt the original to the remix one?no comparison
the original is way better.... now back to this song.. this was the first tine me hearing this song and were it started i was "WTF IS THIS?!!?!" but then when it got about 50 sec into it i start to hear them again.. that part of them that makes them so unique so original and so darn amazing... basically the ppl that really dont like their new material about 90% can tell that they're still there but just dont like the awesome pop remix's that they're using to disguise their rock roots
, basically we want them to remain as true to their original selves that made us fall in love with them, we dont want them to be an other rock band that became pop just so they can be accepted to the mainstream media.. The other 10% that didn't like there new matiral and just stupid dumbfucks that just cry and B**tch to their mom everytime they dont get it their way and cant justify their reason of being like that...........
Dude, you really do need to make a point to see them live sometime.....seen them live three times, and it almost got better each time. They've got really good energy on stage. ESPECIALLY MIKE!
like GORILLAZ's song...
