sweet!! ok im thinking of buying this so i have a couple questions...what kind of files do the videos and pictures save as? ex: jpg. bmp. or whatever and also, is the auto focus ok?
@Jello31398 videos are .avi files and pictures can either be .jpg or .nef(Nikon Raw File) and the auto focus is fine on the kit lens. i would not suggest buying the kit lens, save up for a better one. Lenses are worth the money. I would buy a 35mm prime first
I like it :) ....but i have a few questions, what do these stop motion videos save as? (file type).....And can you set it so that it wont go by seconds and you can press the shutter whenever? Like you take the pictures instead of a timer?
@computerwolfe5 this was the movie i was refering to in my other comment, the first one was interval shooting because i wanted to be in it, and this one was manual shooting with me taking the pictures. all you need is a bunch of consecutive pictures, a movie editor, i use iStopMotion now, and then convert it to a quicktime movie. you can turn it into basically any video type, but i do quicktimes
@computerwolfe5 i dont convert any of the pictures, i just import them into iphoto via usb, and then drag them into the movie editor. i will end up exporting into HD quicktime though
@computerwolfe5 btw u cant really convert a picture to HD unless you are refering to a ___ x 720 resolution. all the photos my camera takes have more resolution than 1080p video,

Great video :D. I watched this and thought...Hey, I need to buy a HD camera and make my own HD stop-mo video. So thanks for the inspiration :D
I've posted it as a video response if you'd like to see it. It's not as cool as this but I gave it a try.
kind regards
