Wogan does have a show on Channel 4 (Total Recall). Not taking sides here, but Channel 4 definitely said that they hoped Chris would take his listeners with him to his TV programme.

Who'd have guessed that Richard and Judy's figures would have fallen so badly now they've switched channels? Moylsie's Radio 1 fans are currently a 'captive' audience - in the car or workplace etc, but he's atrocious on TV.

Everyone would have guessed Richard and Judy's viewers would go down, because they went to Sky. From Channel 4, a channel anyone can watch to a Sky channel that only Sky subscribers can watch. Anyone with half a brain can see that would happen.

Only time will tell with Moyles' programme, he has the same timeslot as the Sunday Night Project and that does well consistently. But watching Piers Morgan is like enjoying slamming your hand in a car door. Repeatedly.

Seeing as you like to correct people: R&J's show is on Watch - not Sky. You don't have to pay any subscription as it's available through any satellite dish OR a FREEVIEW box.

Moyles was given the C4 show because the bosses thought his fans (blind followers) would follow him there. WRONG! Morgan will trounce Moyles in the ratings. Accept it.

Since you like to correct people: Watch (owned by the UKTV Network and a subsidiary of the BBC & Virgin) is a channel on Sky Digital (received through a satellite dish) and Virgin Media (a cable service), both a digital subscription service owned by Rupert Murdoch and Richard Branson, respectively. Watch is not yet available on Freeview.

And no, Channel 4 did not give Moyles a programme based on his several million morning listeners. That is a retarded assumption...

... Most people listen to Chris Moyles in the morning because they're young (i.e. 16-35). Anything older than that and they're just avoiding their inevitable switch to Terry Wogan on Radio 2. Wogan still gets 500,000 or so more listeners than Moyles, so based on your argument, why didn't Wogan get offered the programme instead of Moyles?

Piers Morgan's programme does have more ratings than Moyles', but I don't want Piers Morgan on my TV at any time, because, like you, I think he's a twat.
