this prayer mixed with that music is beautiful!! my mawmaw just recently passed away and i was with her for the last couple hours of her life before God took her home. If anyone was able to skip purgatory it would be her and i have true faith in that. I love the catholic faith because we believe that we can pray for the deceased and that they are not dead but have eternal life with our Lord

I've been praying this prayer ten times a night for about a year or so. I love it. I have it in my car to say at traffic delays or getting in and out. It's so easy to do and wins us so many friends that we've helped into heaven. Bless you for posting it. It makes it easier to say when you have someone doing it with you.

I am not Catholic, but as a Christian who struggles with sin, purgatory makes good sense to me! Also, it is important to remember, that one doesn't go to purgatory entirely based upon works. Purgatory is ONLY for followers of Christ. It is a place of purification, where followers of Christ go after death, to be completely purified by Christ before entering heaven. Purgatory is NOT a second chance for unbelievers. It is only for followers of Christ! May Christ bless those in purgatory!!
