Actually it seems to be some effect of CamStudio, which I'd never seen happen in recording with it before now. That -might- be the case, though, given that all attempts to record before this one had HORRIBLE audio desync. Anyway, my thought was, the audio desync was worse, so when this came up with pretty much NO desync, I uploaded it to see if people would be bothered too much by it. I know it's not perfect, but it's the best I've been able to do so far. And it's at least -tolerable-, no? ^_^;

Anyway, to answer your first question as well, no, I'm using the Slo-Mo version. The frame rate while I was recording was actually quite good, all things considered. It didn't look anything as bad as how the video turned out, which saddens me, but only a little, given that there was at least minimal if not absolutely no sound desync, so...

Heh, I did it without the glitch my first completion of the game (because I didn't even KNOW about the glitch), but it took a LOT of deaths to get it down pat... Ironically, in subsequent playthroughs, I beat him USING the glitch not knowing the TRIGGER that caused the glitch until I did research later. Turns out the K key (which I had set as my jump button) was the key that glitches him out :O

I've been DYING to do this for months! Finally I had a CamStudio breakthrough that made this recording possible...

Only downside is, unlike the other great epic runs of yesteryear, I'm not going into this even nearly blindly. So there won't be the humor of "OMG here it comes! *death* ...AHAHAHAH I KNEW IT!" Rather, just lulz at me for my own epic fail, knowing but still unable to stop the inevitable. Heh. Still, this isn't for popularity - I just wanna be The Guy. That's all. XD

You could try CamStudio - it's what I used to record this video right here. And it's what I've been using for a few months or so now for all my videos involving gameplay, since (as I recall) my Mega Man X2 videos...

I can't help iiiit. ;_; but if you can patiently wait for the Ghouls'n Ghosts section, or Ghosts'n Goblins section if you prefer, I'll have TONS of death and failure. I will cut nothing out. Ten minutes at a time, I shall fail that section. Especially since I can't get over 10 minutes in recording - I attempted to put this through Windows Movie Maker, and it completely PULVERIZED the picture quality. ;_; So I'll have to upload each part completely unedited...unless I can fix the WMM problem.
