it's a little more difficult. you pop downward really quickly and let the board and let the float of the board and the force of the water pull it out of the water. it's the same concept, just a little harder.

again i think your my hero haha, and i have the same question, when you olie on a skimboard is it just like on a skateboard? cuz i assumed that if you pused down on the skimboard any more on one end you would drag and slow/turn :/ please answer this question :D
