Easiest method to get this achievement is to play on legendary and just send single units into the covenant area in the beginning. Didn't realise this the first time and so I carpet bombed my units to get the achievement.

Just set your rally point in the middle of a lot of enemies and make them one at a time instead of sending a group. They'll run in and get picked off by the brutes.

i found it way faster if you send every marine you have on top of the ridge to the right at 1:17 all your marines will be in range and wont be able to attack the umm turret? more or less be too busy killing themselves from being infected like mad

Fully-upgrade your flamers, send them over to the elephant to get infected, then spam non-upgraded marines. Playing on a harder difficulty actually makes it easier as you lose units faster.

Ddue there's also some cool way to do the ramblin man achievement faster. Max out obviously at the field armory to 40. And looks around the map for squads of odst but make sure that your population is at it's max or else it won't work. After you find 1 squad you get an extra 10 troops. Max out with marines from the elephants and do the rest of what Geoff says and you can do it in half the time since it's expanded to 50 max pop. message me if u got any Q's about it.

i did a similar thing as him and set up a elephant at the flood base and had the flood kill them but i also set up another elephant and just used carpet bombs to blow the shit out of the rest

best way iv done this is set up ur base and ur elephants, put one of the elephants' rally point flags right in the flood base and train up a bunch of troops. most of the time they will end up walking one squad at a time to their death and the time it takes to train them spaces them out enough that your troops never build up a good enough group to kill the flood

For all who need info on the 9th lvl im here to tell ya where they are

Black box: south west of the far west flood colony

Skull: Kill 20 stalks and then the skull will appear a little north east of ur base, near a crashed pelican viable through the fog of war.

To get the achievement 'Sweet Naptime' Destroy all the Flood Colonies at the same time. U may want to destroy the Gravemind after u got this one, its a lot weaker

Easy way to win lvl, Carpet bomb the Gravemind.

Just put your elephants by your base (Unlocked after rescuing the first elephant.) And place the meeting point, or rally point, What ever it's called, by one of those flood pooper things. Every 30 seconds or so, make a unit or two, then they just run away and kill themselves. Easy. In regards to the carpet bomb, I haven't tried it, but it makes sence. As long as it actually can kill your men efficiently. If it only get 1 or 2 then it's pointless, 'cuz you have to wait for it to come back online.

Key to Pirth is an achievement for completing the... Arcadian missions, I think. It's definitely a completion award, though.
