  • Hi coutneycoo, I am pleased to hear that your Aunt is a survivor of breast cancer and sorry to hear about your friend's Aunt just being diagnosed.I wish her well. As you say, it is hard to go through but having good friends like you and your Aunt who survived breast cancer to be there for them and to give support, listen, care and give hope and encouragement will mean a lot as will your lovely idea to cover this song for your friend. Take care best wishes Lynne.

  • My Aunt is a survivor of breast cancer survivor and my Best friend's Aunt was just diagnosed with Breast cancer..... I'm going to do a cover of this song and surprise my beast friend with it it very hard to go through and my Aunt was one of the lucky ones who survived my heart goes out to those who are fighting and those who have lost someone to cancer

  • I just came across this video, Lesley was my aunt and I remember her getting this quilt.. It meant a lot to her to recieve such a beautiful gift and it was lovely to be reminded of it myself... I hope this video manages to touch enough people and raises awareness about breast cancer.

  • @JennayRaes Hi Jennay, lovely to hear from you. Your aunt talked about you a lot. I included the "Breast Friends" quilt image as I know how much it meant to Lesley to receive such a thoughtful and beautiful gift which was both a symbol of her friendship with Caroline & of hope. The video is being used by a number of cancer related websites & has also been used by news and music websites and by individuals to raise awareness about breast cancer across the world. I hope others will use it too.

  • no matter how many times i listen to this i still cry.

  • @redvelvet259 Awww.... thanks for your comment on my song redvelvet259. I am sorry for your loss if it makes you cry because you have lost someone you love to breast cancer.

I am so sorry to hear about your great Grandma and your Mum's best friend. It is wonderful that you and your best friend are starting your own cancer walk. Jill and I would be very touched if you chose to play this song in their memory to help raise awareness about cancer. All the best with your walk. I will be thinking of you.

  • Me and my BFF r starting our own cancer walk and we might play this song there.... My great grandma died from brestcancer and my moms BFF died from ovation cancer... It was very sad....

  • @trurawmedia Awww.... that's lovely thanks.Your Mum would be proud of your music. Love Lynne x

  • @trurawmedia Thank you very much I appreciate you saying that. Take care.

  • @trurawmedia Can't stop thinking about you & your message about wanting your Mum back. Big hug from me. Sadly, there will be times when you do just want your Mum back. When I feel like that about my Dad or my Mum or want to tell them something I just talk to them anyway. Someone sent me the poem "Death is nothing at all" when my dad died. It talks about thinking of someone who has died as waiting for you somewhere near, in a room just out of sight & says to talk to them in the old familiar way.

  • @trurawmedia

Awww... I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum. It's natural to feel the way you are feeling. I can relate to that as, sadly, neither of my parents are still living and there have been many times over the years when I have felt the way that you do. Having friends & family around me helps but it also helps me to hold on to happy memories of them & the belief that I will see them again. At times, I feel like they are very close to me & watching over me. I will be thinking of you.

  • dit is egt een prachtlied.

  • @pekukuk Dank u zeer hartelijk. Ik ben erg blij dat u het lied wilt. Dank u voor uw commentaar.

(Thank you very much indeed. I am very pleased that you like the song. Thank you for commenting.)

  • i love this song i hope i can maybe sing this song in choir!!!:)

  • @ACLUBBUG

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. It is wonderful to know that you like my song enough to want to sing it with your choir. I think Pink Ribbon would sound beautiful sung by a choir and would love to be able to hear a recording of it.
