with a wet track and slicks you should get away from the sliptstream, go to the normal asphalt, there is much more grip, and put your tirepressure about 2 bar!
Nice stuff, loving some of the sideways action, really strongly considering doing the arrive and drive up MK but only ever done karting at works do's and stuff, how different is it? i'm guessin they aren't that nervous all the while just the damp conditions.
went the other day for the first time and totally loved it....even got the best time of our group 1.14.571. dry conditions.cant wait to go again and to have my own kart instead of sharing.
you should join an outdoor club...it is great practice for wet weather skills and you get much better opposition...daytona sandown park is £50 each round and its once a month. i race there and look to go on to minimax, kf3 or easykart next year...
Yes track is huge and would take you long to master, specially for me being as I live around 2 hours away I don't think I can make it that often as I'd like ;)
Thank you, was my first time in the Rotax Max karts and on that track, was very wet but enjoyable as I was the only one on there and I could slide in on some corners without worrying ;)

Nice driving for 1st time at MK, the track is so long it must take ages to master the lines. I have been twice and still am all over the place.

AWAZ121 2 years ago
Yea I know, first time round any track there be off until you keep going back or have longer.
I only had 15mins and the track was so wet, I was looking for the dry parts, though I like getting it sideways.
DriverProfiles 2 years ago
@AWAZ121 the racing line on a wet track is completly different to that of a dry track anyway
