  • @jazzpianist120 , Really, so what you say is Palmieri, Brian Lynch, Conrad Herwing and the rest are students or something like that? if you don't know who this guys are so that's mean you are the one who don't know nothing about music, show me your curriculum????? Brother....

  • @heratahora what are you talking about????I'm not talking about Palmieri and the gang...im talking about the 6 people who disliked this video!!!next time you want to reply back to some one elses comment, you should really read carefully what they wrote...and I'm a Berklee student on a scholarship...that's my curriculum:)

  • Great video, just pissed me off when the camera man didn't spend the right amount of time with the conga solo was taking place...

  • How cool is this I love it. This reminds me of a club called the Che Jose in NYC back in the days :) I danced with the best of the latin bands there!

believe it or not, latin jazz makes the angels groove.

  • Latin Jazz pura CREMA!!!

  • I had the pleasure of seeing Eddie Palmieri at the Duke Ellington Jazz Festival dedicated to Dizzy. He is the only musician I know of who plays the piano as a true percussion instrument.

  • Deliciosa muestra de calidad. Excelente el maestro Palmieri. Increíbles el trompetista y el trombonista. Son músicos de muy alto nivel

  • I just jammed with Brian Lynch a couple of hours ago in part of my high school jazz class. It was cool.

  • EXPLOSIVE ! I HAD TO CALL 911 for EMERGENCY, My BRAIN LEFT ME AND DID NOT WANT TO COME BACK ! WOW ! I WAS INTO LIKE NEVER BEFORE....WHAT A SOUND ! I' M GLAD I HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE. MAMMA MIA .....SABORRRRRRRRR ! A GOZAR !

  • I love after his solo @ 4:07....he's like "yeah i just absolutely made that my bit@#"

  • Whoa this is killin!!!

    MIKE ARANGO

  • Tremendo Groove!!!!suave

  • Can't tell if musicians really play better when they are playing together in close proximity or in separate booths like this. I would think the former, but the music sounds good. Thanks.

  • Just heard this coming home from the range this afternoon; I was so impressed with the "New York" stylings of the horns that I nearly crashed the truck into a bridge abutment trying to look up Palmieri & Lynch's project.

Simply SPECTACULAR work. They've taken a Salsa classic and made it sound simply brilliant.

  • Awesome, I enjoyed that !

  • words can't describe this.... just beautiful.

  • WoooooooUUuuUuuuoooo!!!!!!!! Simply awesome!!! Son muy "simpaticos" jejejejeje

  • This a extremedely power machine with a lot of taste!!

Oye lo que te combiene.. Palmieri más sabor, mucho más sabor...!

All horns the are beautiful... Excelente..

  • I loved it, I have most of eddie's albums. I use to go to the dances to see him play I can remember dancing off azucar like it was yesterday. I was so influence by the latin music of the day, I wrote a new song No Mas, you can see the video at lsmoother Pls Comment I wrote a latin Jazz song My Kind of Girl Recardo Strobert on soprano sax. Hey check these songs out and subscribe if you like.

  • i wonder what mouthpiece Brian Lynch uses

  • EXCELLENT. GREAT RHYTHM AND TEMPOS.

  • omg

XD

  • perfect

  • Good song i didnt like the Sax solo too much it didnt seem to go with the music to me....but thats just one musicians opinion...

  • gracias por el video!

  • This is simply damn groovy! It's odd how they can play so well together altough they're in different rooms and can't even see each other.

  • A powerful session!!! A new way to produce music videos. You can't capture the power that was there except like this. We are in the room with the heavies as they created a masterpiece. A different feel from a concert. IT WAS ALIVE !!! SO MOVING!!!

  • Excellent!! That's all...just excellent! :)

  • PALMIERI TITAN DE LA SALSA DURA

  • GREAT

  • love the bone solo!

  • There's nothing to say

  • this ish is killin

  • This is not just music. Take a close look at the level of enjoyment this professionals are going through in the video. This is pure spiritual connection with their souls. No ego here, just pure art, the way it should always be.

  • Palmieri, the sun of Latin music, In Peru 1990 le we asked for Telonius Monk, Mc.Coy Tyner, Bill Evans and I value that they are its influence of the sincere and Humble Jazz.Muy like all great musician who already knows that this in History. Excellent video. A hug of Peru.

  • What?? dilo en espagno1

Excelente video.Un abrazo de Peru.

  • dafnis prieto is a great great bad ass mother fucker drummer very very impressive

  • any way the sound is good

  • Hi Guys awesome video and about your comments please do a little research before making a judgement, somebody having acces to tape this show would never be deaf(I don't even know who he is).Good luck and keep sharing !!I have alot of videos to up load but cannot find the way to convert them.

  • I have to get this CD! Amazing musicians who produce some of the best Latin jazz available today. Conrad Herwig is the only trombonist I really enjoy, and he is great here.

Let's hope these guys continue to share their talents with us with other CDs. I love how Eddie surrounds himself with such fine players. He seems to have knocked about 30 years off his age in the process!

  • cool, thanks. Miguel.

  • MUY CALENETE!!! Hey, The camera guy did manage to get a shot of the conga/bongo player near the end of his solo.

  • The camera man obviously did not know that there was a conga solo going on (deaf?) and by the time he realised and he found Pedro Martinez, the solo was over, thus depriving all of us from watching him play what sounds like an amazing solo.

  • The conga and bongos were in a different room. It was a single camera shot and there was no way, unfortunately, to capture them.

  • Sorry, I did not mean to say you were deaf for real, it was a joke but in writing it may not look like a joke, so I apologise. It just seems funny that the camera man (you?) at the end seems to be running from room to room trying to find the soloist. Very enjoyable video and music, is the cd simpatico out yet? Miguel

  • Yes, the CD, plus extra tracks and multimedia content is available at http://brianlynch.artistshare.com

No offense taken - just setting the record straight :-)

  • Once again, Conrad proves his greatness!

  • El loco Palmieri strikes again. This one is a treat. ANGELO

  • ok, good tune, but next time get clue the camera guy in that the conga player and bongo player are also great and should not be completely forgotten in his filming.

    but a great cut.

  • EXACTLY!!!

  • The problem is that the conga and bongos were in a different room. It was a single camera shot and there was no way, unfortunately, to capture them.
