hopefully this will become mainstream enough for the general public to finally see that blood is not a lifesaver, and that many people have died needlessly in recent decades because of it. God knew what is best for humans long before we did, as usual. Everything Jehovah asks us to do is for our own good, even if we don't understand why yet.
For all those who 'disliked' this video, you ought to know that even the military is taking advantage of bloodless surgeries. Maybe it's time for people to research this God-given matter, a little further.
I was glad to see this video. While it is very short, it does verify what I heard at a blood seminar, in a quote by the Head of Surgery at St Luke's Hospital. He stated that the 'ICU morbidity rate for those who take blood transfusions is almost double that of those who do not, 13% compared to 7%." He followed up by stating, 'After examining the facts, I cannot say there is any level at which I would state for a certainty it is advisable to administer blood.'
First the Military wants training in non-blood management & now this expose`. The truth will always come out in the end! Very much looking forward to see this.
This is where the biblical viewpoint meets the experts viewpoint. They do not contradict each other and Jehovah's witnesses have been preaching this for decades!
The Watch Tower Society relies on discarded, centuries-old medical beliefs to support its assertion that blood transfusions are the same as eating blood. A 1990 Watch Tower brochure on blood quoted a 17th century anatomist to support its view. The view that blood is nourishment—still espoused in Watch Tower publications was abandoned by modern medicine many decades ago
What percentage of that 80 million have negative effects then?
Are more people harmed by transfusions than are saved?
All this seems to be saying is that transfusion criteria needs to be reviewed and updated just like any other medical procedure.
You have to remember that a lot of these supporting posts are from people's interpretation of Biblical scriptures regards the superstitious rituals of Animal sacrifice.
ALL medical procedures contain a risk of complications.
Millions of patients are now in danger from previously unknown risks associated with blood transfusions, for example the effects of DNA & chromosome transfers. What are the long term implications of receiving other peoples DNA or receiving chromosomes from the opposite sex after a blood transfusion? The film explores the controversial history of blood transfusions & the greatest obstacle facing global healthcare - the reflex rejection of new knowledge, because it contradicts entrenched paradigms
@Lekozza In our day and age who claims that all blood transfusions saves lives? Every doctor I have ever spoken to regarding blood transfusions has said they view it as a last resort and has never made such a claim.
@erbell98 It's interesting how medical opinion regarding blood has changed and is still changing with each passing year. Going from being a "miracle cure" that was always "life-saving" to now a treatment that should only be used as "a last resort", soon it will never be used and regarded by the medical community as one of it's biggest blunders of the last 70years. Jehovah's wisdom proven right yet again. Abstain from blood. Trust Jehovah not man.
@Lekozza Even if it is no longer used can it really be called one of the biggest blunders? Is that not a generalization?
Can it truly be said that that all who trust in Jehovah abstain from blood? For example If one uses the cell salvage machine that's not abstaining from blood it's just not using donor blood. (I'm not looking for a debate so you don't have to answer it's a question I've thought about)
@Lekozza Not all of the cell salvage systems ( a form of interoperative autologous blood transfusions) are closed loop. Even the video produced by the WT features an open suction version.
"'Primum Non Nocere - First Do No Harm' found itself inside the formation of another documentary. Starting with an entirely different project, the original concept 'Beijing Goes Bloodless', was short-listed for the Co-Production Challenge, at Mipdoc, in 2008.
This is wonderful. I first seen this on the 'Non-Blood Medical Management' facebook page. It's so sad that many people have been brainwashed to think blood transfusions are good for them. Untold numbers must of unnecessarily died because of this dangerous, untested practice. The truth is here.
This is where the biblical viewpoint meets the experts viewpoint. They do not contradict each other and Jehovah's witnesses have been preaching this for decades!
I can't wait to see this! This is what witnesses have been saying for years! Not only is is it a commandment from the bible to abstain from blood (Acts 15:28&29) but its a protection! When & where will this air?

@erbell98 The cell salvage machine is an extension of a patients own circulatory system, so their blood remains in continuity with them.

OK - Primum non nocere is a Latin phrase that means "First, do no harm".
