Beating Gus at level 1 isn't difficult. Plenty of the other feats ShadowKirby2007 does are, though. I beat Gus without taking damage, but ShadowKirby's way better than me 'cause Bonetail owns me...

A Superguard can be done by pressing B ¼ of a second before contact.

(To Wiithemaster): There is a badge called the Timing Tutor you can get to give you in-game help. I'm a real cheap-ass in video games, so I don't know how good it is; I just used trial and error. If you're like me, you could also buy the badge, learn, and not save.

He's using Superguarding. Instead of pressing A, you press B. It's harder to time, but as you can see, it not only prevents most direct attacks from hurting you, it damages the opponent a bit. Without mastering Superguarding, this fight would be impossible at level 1.

A triple-backflip is only available if you use certain hammer techniques like Power Hammer... or Smash Hammer...? Wow, I actually forgot. XoX; Also, the term for these techniques are called Stylish Moves, ya deadheads. It says "Stylish" every time you perform one, for flak seed's sake!

I used Superguard, its similar to regular defense but Instead defending with the A button Press the B button on the Right Time and gives the Enemy 1HP of Damage and you get no damage, its more difficult to super guard than regular defend.

i battled him at the begging the first time i played, thinking i was good cuz i was good at paper mario, and i got a game over, and when my brother, with almost no paper mario skills beat him, cuz he masters things faster than me mastered the super gaurd in a matter of minutes, i took me half an hour, then again, i havent played paper mario in a looooooooong time, maybe 3 years

Wow you're good at this! I'm quite getting used to the battle system! I have the game now and I'm stuck at that stupid Great Tree on the most annoying chapter ever Chapter 2:The Great Boggly Tree cuz I have to herd all of the Punies and protect them from the Jaggies. Great Vid.

You're awesome with super guards, you got hurt though on a couple of turns, but still I found that pretty amazing, I'm pretty good @ Paper mario but every time I fight this guy I've always used badges, Never tried it w/out them, Nice, though, 9.5/10 ^_^
