God has changed my life completely.  I am working on strengthening my faith everyday. Walking with Christ is a journey, and a beautiful one. I thank you all for these videos, and bringing me closer to God.

All the time people spend worshipping god could be used to help others and make the world a better place. When things go wrong, a lot of people I know just pray to god and expect him to fix their problems instead of trying to fix them themselves. I don't believe that god would punish people for not worshipping him, so I don't see any reason to do it. I don't think he would even WANT us to worship him.

He deserves the worship, and he wants us to worship him because that would be the right thing for us to do. Because if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have a life (or afterlife) atall.

And worshipping God is often done while helping others. As helping is doing what God wants us to do which therefore is giving him glory. But God doesn't force us to constantly help other people, rather to do unto others as we'd have them do unto us constantly.

Ontop of that, very few people have doubtless faith that could get God to succumb to their prayers all the time. Even when they do get enough faith it's often a one off.

god wouldn't put us in this environment and expect us to all have faith, so why would we be punished if we don't? it sounds like you think that we're given points for how much faith we have and god is keeping score. a person who has just enough faith to get himself into heaven isn't rewarded in this life as much as a person who has more than enough faith? is that how it is?

I would say that the scientific accurecy of the Bible, examples from other people lives such as NDE's and most of all my own experience and relationship with God, the fact that I see how God sorts things out in my life and hears my prayers.

You are a sincer, for instance, which means you deserve to die this very moment, but you are still alive because of the eternal mercy and forgivness of God and Jesus Christ, who died FOR YOUR sins, so you could be saved. So rejoise and give glory and thanks to God th Father for everyday and EVERYTHING that happens to you.

i have never been a "siner" OR a "sincer". lol, but seriously, your system of punishment and reward isn't fair because people aren't responsible for what they think, feel and do because everyone is influenced by their environment. if you were born in a different place, you could have a completely different personality. you might be nicer, or you might be... well, the way you are now. it isn't in your control though, even if you have "free will". also, babies DEFINITELY DO NOT deserve to suffer.

People wouldn't rely on God if he made them invincible, they'd get the impression that they don't need him and that he doesn't have to be respected because they'll never feel pain or die anyway. Which would cause more sin in the world such as theft, adultery, fornication, rape etc etc.

You have to look from alot of viewpoints to understand god atall.

They aren't punished, if they'd not heard of God before then he would surely understand, and most likely allow them into heaven after death.

God isn't selfish, he DESERVES worship, and DESERVES respect. It's all about doing right.

If I had a child, I would expect that child to respect me, because if it wasn't for me he/she wouldn't be alive(or even have an afterlife).

God:

1. Loves us more than our parents (and has more power).

2. Created our whole race, so deserves respect like our parents. (Not forgeting the afterlife)

People don't choose everything, but people can choose things. God chooses where they're born.

what about people who don't have good lives? your life might be alright, and mine is fairly pleasant. i'm comfortable most of the time. but what about people who are born into poverty or born with diseases? there are people who don't have much to be grateful for. a lot of people lose hope or never even have hope to begin with because of all the pain suffering they're forced to live with.

Environment only effects you if you let it, I live in Britain, a country stuffed full of atheists where religion seems to be a dying breed. No atheism has rubbed off on me, because I choose to ignore their claims. You act asif choice doesn't exist.

You do have the choice to listen to me on this and take my word for it. You've just chosen not to.

i don't choose not to believe what your saying, i just don't believe it. i can't believe something that i don't believe. i was raised a christian, but i eventually stopped believing. i've read enough of the bible to have a fairly well educated opinion on it, and i've talked to people who have read it and believed it, and i've talked to people who read it and didn't believe it, but i agreed with the people who didn't believe because they made more sense to me.

okay, it sounds like you agree that you don't have to be a christian in order to get into heaven if it exists. you basically said that god would make an exception for someone who wasn't aware of his existence. would it be reasonable to say that he would treat people who just weren't able to be convinced of his existence the same way? like atheists? it isn't their fault they don't believe in god. they just aren't capable of understanding the concept. god wouldn't send them to hell, would he?

God does not send anyone to Hell. People choose to go there. They choose this by rejecting God's gift of salvation. God in all his mercy and love had provided the way for sinners (thats us) to reconcile with God (through Jesus) if one chooses to believe this and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

God did not have to give us ANY way, let alone ONE way. We ALL deserve punishment for our sins

i know a lot of atheists say stuff like "you know your wrong. you don't really believe in god. you're just in denial." and sometimes christians use similar arguments to defend their point of view, but i disagree with that idea. i understand that you DO believe in god, and you can't just change your mind about something you believe in (or don't believe in) without having some kind of experience that makes your beliefs change.

In a way I agree, experiences do often influence your beliefs.

But you choose what experiences you believe.

Alot of my beliefs in God are not influenced atall by my parents or church. For one I don't believe that homosexuality is wrong, whereas my parents and the majority of churches do.

I'm not homosexual and nor do I know any homosexuals, I just chose to focus on Gods love rather than popular opinion. I interpret scripture in a different way to most christians.

I choose not to believe in evolution because I think it contradicts the Bible, I think it contradicts the Bible because it actually does, not because I have to (some people believe in both evolution and the christian god as you may have heard, they chose to accept both).
