I actually get relaxed by violent games. If I play tetris, Don't go near me because that game is frustrating. I have no clue why but it just happens. I don't get a killing feeling while playing violent games either. Tetris? Well, Yeah. It sucks and is rage inducing.
Well when Rachael's brother gave a speech (Rachael a friend of one of the boys that shot up the school, she was killed too). It had nothing to do with the games but more to do with the fact that the kids were bullied and shit for all of their high school life and some middle school. I mean there was even videos of them being beat up and shit. A killer is made from years of torment, a chemical imbalance, or wrong teachings. Not by a video game. People just need something to point a finger at.

Psychology dude is wrong. Violent videogames create an increase in adrenaline produced by the body for up to 10 minutes after the play session. Videogames get you excited, not violent. When you finish a play session you're more like "WHOOO", not like "WRARGH!" Psychology fail.
I like the report but I don't think the experiment was done right. Of course someone is going to be more aggressive if seeing aggression it would be the same if you saw a fight your blood starts pumping your adrenalin goes up and you become more aggressive because of seeing aggression.
I think if they make the person play 1 hour of video games then the person should wait an hour before being reviewed to see if there is a lasting effect. Then make them play longer. 2 hours 1 hour of rest. etc.

No. No no no no no. This is BS. I've been playing GTA: San Andreas since I was 6-7 (Great game by the way). While, yes, I am a fairly lazy person thanks to the Xbox 360, but I have NEVER had the urge to kill someone after the game. I know I can't really go around killing people and outrun the cops. Their studies prove nothing, they don't even ask the kids if they have anger issues or other mental problems.

If you are an aggressive person then I think any game is going to make you angry if you start losing. My cousin gets angry when he loses to the computer in Wii ping pong lol. Yet his mom used to ask him why he can't be quiet and enjoy the game like I do when I'm playing call of duty or halo. I try not to play anymore though because I've heard they are used to train soldiers to kill people.

And as far as your whole argument about desensitization... if you know anything about videogames, is they typically follow movie media. I personally have played countless violent video games and not only do I not feel the urge to act these things out, but more importantly and to the point, am not desensitized by them. I once witnessed my step-father (a Vietnam vet) put a mortally wounded dog down. He shot it in the head. I saw that and it hit me hard... I've killed thousands and thousands of polygon humans, but seeing a dog (who needed to be put out of it's misery for the right reasons

I grew up with violent video games in the house, because of my older brothers, and I'm just fine. but just like the man in the video said: it isn't the video game's fault, it's the person's fault.
I agree with him. it is not so much the violent video game's fault, but more rather the character of the person. yes it increases agression, but only to a minor degree. something to think about when blaming videogames for crimes and shootings.

I grew up with games such as Doom, Mortal Kombat, Street fighter, and Duke Nukem. Roughly between the ages of 5-10. I'm proud to say that I never got into a fight, never hurt anyone, and never exhibited anti-social behavior. So, either my generation had a better, more sane, grasp on reality or these younger generations are filled with nothing but retarded children with little to no parental supervision. Take your pick.

Any rational, thinking human can tell the difference between a cartoon (fake) target and a real human. One of their techniques is to imply something without saying it; like a headline that reads, "Boy shoots up school after playing Grand Theft Auto" or "Do violent games lead to aggressive behavior?".
