you are merely scratching the surface of the terrible issue of poverty its easier said then done. There are many aspects preventing positive change occurring in this region.. aspects such as debt and corruption play a major role in poverty.
I'm trying to see the situation from an individuals viewpoint. It is horrible of them to bring a consciousness into this world when you know that you can't supply them with the most basic things such as food, or clean water. The mothers might be naive and hope that maybe in 10 years they can make the children work and they will bring food somehow, but their actions are unacceptable to me because unless they are in a good situation they will only bring more suffering into this world.

Sorry but I can't just assume that all of them have been raped or something, and yes giving birth is a choice, for all I've seen it is very normal for a family in ex. Somalia to have many children, and someone has given birth to the entire population that is starving to death, therefor I see that the problem is either with the humanitarian workers that are not educating the people or the mothers for being ignorant of the fact that they bring more suffering into those African regions.

I have seen 4 double trucks carrying huge quantities of sacks with the American flag being driven to Kenya to be sold on.
This story has been going on unreported for many years.
The food is also openly sold on the main market in Mogadishu.
