  • I don't get it.

  • WTF that didnt tell me anything?

  • my home theater is wireless

  • @7necromancer i want a wireless home theater. i have a yamaha. how do the wireless systems sound?

  • @williebeaty in my i have sony you get a special card it looks like a ps2 memory card you put that in the back of the home theater and the other card you put in the amplifier and the card in the home theater sends signals to the card in the amplifier and the amplifier sends the sound by wires to the speaker

  • @7necromancer sounds like a pretty good system, i've never got to see one.

  • @williebeaty thanks i really like my home theater and i think that it sounds really good

  • ?????????

Yeah, sorry you "fail" expertvillage, gimme thumb up if u agrees!

  • constant failure!!

  • These experts probably work at W@!! M@rt in the "audio" section and they think they impress the crowd with the minimal know how they have and the sub standard flea market HT gear ! LOL

Go get some half descent gear and stop taking people for morons. I can find better gear on garbage pickup days!

  • @bsod4u2 The receiver is a harman kardon so it aint bad, the speakers are cheap however

  • expert village sucks at surround sound all they wanna do is to connect things to VCR's and stuff dude the fuck next thing will be: How to connect your HDMI to your tv

  • I NEED HELP HOW DO I PUSH THE *ON* BUTTON !! OMG

  • What the... He's just a random dude, I didn't see a fckin expert....

  • Expert Village may be experts at making us all LAUGH !

Just in case Expert Village ever wondered the 5.1 stands for 5 full range channels(you can limit in freq. by adjusting you receiver or pre/pro menu) and one LF(LOW FREQUENCY) also known as LFE channel. You goofballs, five satelites...LOL Yes in a cheapo Dollar Store purchased HTIB system maybe.

  • how do i plug in a sub in a reciever???

  • so basically I sit back and watch them speakers hang themselves as for the amp and dvd they'll get in the tv stand on their own.

  • @djEvilDude According to Expertvillage that's what you do. I mean if you're going to make an instructional video and put it on you tube. Shouldn't you Know what the hell you are talking about first.

  • wow....that was very helpful......dumb ass expert village... stupid fucks...

  • You connect a non powered or "passive" Subwoofer to your system using the speaker connections you go from the receiver to the subwoofer then from the subwoofer to the main speakers.

  • Did he just say the 5 is for satellite speakers?

  • @asatruviking that's actually correct. They are called "satellite" speakers.

  • @matt56037 My point is that you can use satellite speakers but they are not ideal, especially for the front speakers. I use two full range speakers for my fronts and a subwoofer. My center channel also has its own subwoofer.

  • @asatruviking Ah ok

  • they think were all stupid like them

  • first, get your equipment... if you thought you could install a home theater system with air, you were wrong.

    ^_^

  • @maishiranui33 i wish. because if i could i would have the best one in my room.

  • fucking expert village sucks ass

  • @shizlnit then don't watch it.

  • how to you connect a non-active sub to the receiver??

  • @dumbarse11 The output signal on most receivers is not powered so you will need a seperate amp for the subwoofer. You would connect the sub out to the mono in on the amp then connect your woofer to the amp. Make sure the amp is capable of the subs impedence.

  • doesnt take a genius to figure out how to put the speakers into your amp and then its easy to plug your other audio stuff into the amp using rca's. just us the color code to plug them in and make sure there getting plug into the right place on the amp. like dvd,cd,video 1 , video 2 ect

  • that is completely wrong even if the sound comes from all speakers it is not truly surround sound.

surround requires either optical or a digital coaxial cable. if you use those youll notice much better sound as the sound channels will be more specific

  • the only thing that uses optical coax is my dvd player and i can use either an s-video cable or a yellow rca cable to get the video i got the optical coax from the dvd player to my sony home theater system and i use audio rcas from my cable box to the tv in on the back then i got rcas coming from the back of my tv that are in the out audio behinde my tv to the in audio of my theater system so i have to put my theater system on video 1 if i want to hear the sound coming out the tv

  • ah okay lol I thought you set up the DvD player with RCA's nice though.

I used to have a 5.1 system but When i got the damn thing I was such a newby I didnt know what the hell a digitial coax or optical was. and got so dissapointed i sent it all back to the store Dx I still have surround sound but not true surround sound just 4.0 stereo. o.O

  • dx? funny on you not knowing what the digitial coax was and you send it back to the store lol. how is the 4.0? what kind is it?

  • I call it 4.0 because it's not surround sound as in diff sounds from diff speakers but as in it has slightly more spacial effect then normal stereo sound.

    lol

Its not true surround because its just stereo surround no 5.1/6.1 or 7.1 surround.

  • lol oh ok question is there such a thing where if you got one s-video socket and you want to hook two things that uses s-video can you make one into two is there anything that you can get to make it so you have two instead of just one?

  • Not that I know of lol

I just know some cables such as composite/S-video/Component/Vga/Dvi/Hdmi "I despise Hdmi because of its cleanliness!! >O"

    lol

  • i got some speakers with 2.1 but how do i hook it up to my xbox 360

  • your gonnna need to buy an amplifier or a sound card.

  • hahaha, I saw this same video at best buy in the " RETARD" section next to the "HOW TO...HOW TO" section

  • dude u are a mega noob

  • Fuck your cousin.

  • You'r COCOTS.Iam only 14 and I learn all about these systems alone. From sound till computers.

  • wow me too now im 15 and i know more then u lol jk i dont know that but learned all this when i was 12 cuz my uncle and my dads do computers and sound lol so i learned from them
