I found the story to be very compelling as it contained a translucent breeze of purely evocative imagery that cleansed the entire short. I would have liked to see a more developed character model (3D wise), but overall, a great storytelling short.

I'm looking to attend this school, and after viewing multiple shorts that supinfocom students produce, it seems that the school emphasizes the story more than the technical aspects of a movie. VFS seems to be the prolepsis of this.

That was beautiful..let me give interpreting this a shot. This little girl is using her head to get outta the predicament all the other children were in. I guess it has something to do with higher learning..maybe thats why letters are used, possibly symbolizing intellect. The girl ends up being the one who can communicate the most effectively b'cuz she utilizes it well (the letters symbolizing higher learning) to get outta the sand. While everyone else is left in the sand. Knowledge is power.
