  • Aww hes cute lol

  • I am 20 years old so i have no problems buying alcohol anywhere but in spain it is alot easier

  • Draft One isnt beer. Its alcohol, but not beer. Made, unbelieveably, from green peas rather than hop. Its pretty awful. Machines that dont require an ID card are extremely rare and only found on the small islands and countryside. Where I lived before, the machine "closed" at 11pm.

  • Imagine if they tried this in America. So many soccer moms would be complaining.

  • lets teach them young

  • wow im so pissed.. i was just saying to my buddy "what if we had beer vending machines that would be bad ass lets make that shit and be rich" so i looked up if anyone had made it and godamnit the japanese beat us too it by 5 years.. fuck!!

  • Hello. If the tourists above the age can they buy beer & cigarettes of vending machines in Japan without scanning the card for residents who is buying.

  • @TheThunderfalcon Japan's drinking age is 20. That's almost high as USA.

  • DO YOU HAVE ANY ENJO KOSAI VIDEOS?

  • cool, kids can also drink in Japan!

  • now thats the legal way of getting kids to buy you alcohol

  • @suburbianlegend & all who gave comments on this video: A sad day in Japan; alcohol vending machines now require patrons to enter a drivers license or "Sake-Pass" (or "Alcohol-Pass"), a card confirming the purchaser is 20 or over. Before, these machines operated on the honor system (as seen in my video). It was a great thing to see, a society running such machines on trust. The fact these machines are still very much a part of the Japan landscape is still great. But I miss the honor system!

  • @kubohemian well its only past 11 o'clock at night when that system starts working and they dont really check your documents when you apply for taspo and such...

I think the real point here is that japanese children are not taught the responsible attitudes toward alcohol, children can buy alcohol from convinience stores with little or no hassle without ID(for daddys drinking habbit or otherwise), they have to understand that this is a privelidge and that in some countries this is not possible.

  • @kubohemian Honor systems are always prone to be abused. That's why contracts exist. As polite and civilized as the Japanese are, they're still human.

  • @kubohemian

So what happens if you're a tourist who wants to buy a beer and don't have a Japanese drivers license or ID card?

  • @gamewizard You don't have to provide ID. It's Japan. I bought beer all the time when I was in Tokyo. It's no different than buying a Coke.

  • @kubohemian When I was in central Tokyo last December I was able to buy beer at the train stations as well as street side and in my hotel, so I don't think it's caught on if they are doing that now. I didn't see any that required an ID.

  • @suburbianlegend No becus if a kid buys alcohol its like disreaspecting his family and its really bad

People in japan r kind and polite

  • LOLOLOLS!!!! she is sooo cute!!!! she has no interest in the beer hehehehe!

  • If only in America

  • No way would that be legal in the US.....we teenagers are NOOOT that disciplined :)

  • sweet

  • kid needs a haircut

  • if we had those here, the death rate would skyrocket!

  • @trx1961 We can't even have those nice vending machine here since people vandalize the crap out of other people's property. Much less one that sells beer.

  • in soviet russia beer drinks you

  • awwwww he's a cutie and he's buying his daddy a beer he's so sweet ^_______^

  • Wow, way to let ppl under 18 have beer.

[No no no, I'm aware the kids gettin' it for you.. I mean- Its a VENDING machine. The easiest way to drink underaged. But then I'd b hypocritical.. I had wine, and vodka at 11 and 13]

  • @777Kiana Under 21 in case of the States.

  • that's right, you got to train women to fetch beer as early as possible!

  • @GrillinpanDa My pleasure; I am so glad you like this video. KBH

  • @carnivalofsouls2047If you are a small child in Japan, it is likely never to never buy it from the vending machine in Japan.

The price of the beer of the vending machine is higher than that of the convenience store.

  • buying drugs is always more easer

it would be cool if they had a pot vending machine

  • @jason4275 They have pot vending machines in California and Denver, you just need a medical marijuana card to use them. They have different flavors and shit too haha

  • @EpicFknBrutality Feds want to destroy this pot machine because of it is federally illegal.

  • werid

  • @sexybeast619619619

@jason4275 In some Western countries, the police cracks down on kids who buy alcohol drinks instead of cracking down on drag dealers and junkies. However, in Japan, the police cracks down on drag dealers and junkies instead of cracking down on kids who buy alcohol drinks. It is clear that the latter is far better than the former.

  • 「KANPAI」>「ITADAKIMASU」

    by japanese

  • Ruleass. I remember one of these from King of the Hill.

  • 子供が可愛いのは世界共通だね

  • they ID now and have facial recognition

  • @IEatCows Only with cigarettes. They require a Taspo identification card that you have to apply for in order to by anything from cigarette vending machines.

  • If I was a little kid in Japan i'd be buying beer all the time!

  • I am going to Japan

  • aww the baby is so cute

  • very cool - The pizza vending machine is my fave !

  • rofl look at that kids thats come from school can just buy beer like gum or even little kids

  • wtf do they even ask 4 ID???!

  • Now if only we have these in colleges in the UK :P

  • This is great for the US. Now you can drink and drive not show any ID. OOOPS you do that already.

  • in japan there are some vending machines that sell womens panties

  • @LimitxKing Yes, I do believe that they are in fact those machines, but not in our town. maybe in some parts of Tokyo.

  • Thats awesome i want one xD

  • nice!

  • wow, u can buy beer without i.d.

  • Comment removed

  • I agree with that. Japan needs to start cracking down on that.

  • WTF and holy shit, an child buying beer. I am shocked.

  • wow maybe their culture has laws enforced by peers not the state! aka Freedom to choose

  • Good times visiting in Japan. It was party everyday hanging near the vending machines.

  • pretty gay because the beer will come out foaming

  • I am glad I have greasy skin.

  • Damn that machine doesn't have an ID scanner like others.

  • Ew! Draft one? Nasty! Get Kirin or Asahi! Actually they sold a good Japanese beer down here at an Asian Festival, but I forget what it was called. It started with an S though.

  • Sapporo?

  • no, it was something else... gah, I still don't remember the name..... thx though ^^

  • anyone from Japan know the name of the drink from japan...it's like Sprite but it comes in a clear curvy glass bottle with a ball in it...it's very good...I can't remember the name of it but I was going to bring one home when I was in Tokyo but I forgot...that drink was awesome...it was an alcohol but a soda...

  • Ramune. And sometimes they sell it at grocery stores, but if yours doesnt sell it stock up at fests and cons or go to World Market. I love Ramune, its gooood. ^^

  • that's the one that has the little clear ball in it that's trapped in the bottle?...

  • Yup yup! ^^

  • oh wow kool nice.

THERE IS A AUDIO PREVIEW WHEN POSTING A COMMENT!!!!! CHECK IT!!!

  • I know but in the process, they broke the comments again...try hitting "view all comments" and then try to reply to someone...it doesn't work anymore...I'd rather keep commenting working than have the audio preview...I don't really see the purpose of it...

  • Try Central Market. They have Rammune.

    I like the lychi flavor.

  • Singha ?

  • What so u mean almost every kid in japan can buy beer and get drunk!!! isnt there a drinking age?

  • The drinking age is 20 in Japan, but not really enforced - in the bars or the stores, and certainly not the machines.

  • yes!!!!!!! Japan ftw. the only downside to japan that i know so far is the horrible comedy!!

  • no one cares if you get drunk because everyone rides the subway...the families regularly drink liquor with their meals in Japan...it's called Saki, though...it's awesome

  • Beer Song:Beer beer beer beer

Kid:I cant remember how much I have had...lol

Sometimes I think to myself if they put these in Ireland....

    Leprechaun:Ooh beer!!!

Guy in machine:Thats rite gimme ur gold hehehe

  • We need a few of these at uni, would save us walking across campus to get drunk at the uni bar during our break.

  • starting off early huh? draft one? i have never seen that one before.the asian market around here carries some really odd and difficult to come by brand japanese beer. like yebisu, orion and kirin. but i will take your word for it thats it crappy stuff.

  • Yes, Draft One is liquid crap. Btw, when buying Japanese beer outside of Japan, you may notice it may be bottled by a US brewery. In the States for example, Kirin is bottled by Bud! It's no way close to as tasty as the real deal.

  • WTF X 2= Drunk kid.

  • Ugh, Draft One isn't even real beer, it's like the Colt 45 of Japan. Worst hangovers EVER

  • I agree -- but you gotta start the kid on something!

  • How strong is the beer?

  • mostly stronger than American and about as strong as European beer.

  • lol sweet im gettin beer next time i go

  • Wow dude, anybody could buy that shit there, sweet :D

  • lol u made the kid buy joo beer, how cute!

  • ha ha dude, thats awesome! the first time I saw one in tokyo I was like "no efifn way..." lol Kempai!

  • wow... that easy for kids to get drunk. lucky bastard.
