I rember a day a few years ago.

I was visiting a zoo an saw two of them in a cage, with a big sign " these animals are an endangered species"

A women was standing in front of the cage and said to her husband " Darling, I wish I coud have a fur coat off them"

In this moment I could just stare at the back of the women it was unbelivable.....

@wjm911 Me too mate. I'm worried about the future of these cats, as well as many other animals around the world. Are you involved in conservation? I recently gave some money to Fauna and Flora International, and next month I'm hoping to go volunteer with WWF. The more people take a stand and help, the better chance these creatures have.

yes they are still found in the wild but they are rarly seen because they are so secretive. in fact most of the info gathered about them was gathered in captivity

On wikipedia it says they can grow up to 3 feet 6 inches long and can get up to 50 pounds.

@kleaky Thats about right. A Average Female is 30lbs. And body is about 3ft and low to the ground.

To be honest, every wild animal apart from reptiles from the tropical rainforest especially in the southeast asia is smallest in the world for some reason. Our elephants are the smallest, same goes to our tigers, rhinos, baboons even our people are smaller in size.
