Please can people stop saying in Ghana most people speak French, that is bollocks. Most people speak a local language mostly Twi or an Akan language and also Ga. The only foreign language spoken widely is ENGLISH NOT FRENCH. Ghana is NOT a francophone country, we are just bordered by French speaking countries.

The only Ghanaians I know who speak French r the ones from the borders with Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Togo. My parents' village is between Ghana and Togo and most of the people r able to speak French.
