I am looking for work still a little green 25% .Im at the docks every day.I have been asking the captain/mate when are they leaving?And if they have a full crew?Always full, they don’t want to hire someone they dont know,it is a business,and they do not want to loose.I understand.I am a mechanic,I can weld,cut,was a boatswains mate,can do any shipboard duty.Just one opportunity to prove myself, my pay? I will let the captain/mate be the judge.Trying this approach, I am very determined to work.
these are 55 lb bags that we always seemed to use in open areas. the only other size bag i've ever used is 65 lb bags, i don't know of anybody who uses bigger bags out of New Bedford or Gloucester

Those are 40 lb bags and were always the standard in New Bedford.

That was a great video..I own Diamond Marine Supply and we manufacture 2lbs to desired size...But our biggest seller is 65lbs

Hi I'm on the other side of the Atlantic in Scotland, bags we use are 143 lb bags but a lot of the fleet here have started using 55 lb bags
