  • I don't know if it's the lighting or whatever, but seriously already here you look healthier especially in your skin.

  • One thing you can do is dont have any unhealthy food in your house, then theres no food that you can look at and make you want to eat. if alls you have is healthy food in your house, alls you can eat is healthy food in your house.

  • Your food addiction is hitting you.

  • Hey when you did that "Turn of the crank turn of the crank" thing you were moving your arms thats some exercise :D

  • The problem is will power wont last. Some people have more, some less, but eventually, everyone will lose it.

  • oh and lots of olive oil.you don't have to care about calories only quality of food..eat kosher thats most important since its a commandment..don't eat anything processed, refined,or manipulated by men, give up all sodium and cook all your own food that all started with only 1 ingredient so you know exactly what is in it.. you know like a potatoe from the ground's only ingredient is..potatoe. also watch out for soy, bpa's. and store bought milk 2 it has lots of estrogen in it. Eat turmeric daily

  • I have went through the cravings and its torture, I managed to reach points where I lost the cravings though and was actually sickened by the thought of the things I used to crave.. I have done that cycle a few times, the only way my mind will not bug me with cravings is if I wake up early and stuff myself with real food, learn to cook like a chef that is crucial.. If you stuff yourself with real food you won't have room for junk, brown rice, sweet potatoes, chicken breast, eggs, oatmeal, water

  • You need a hobbie to distract your mind.

  • stay strong bro...I know this is a random question..but how tall are you?

  • my diet is eating every other day and excercising allllllll day everyday. so far its working out for me very good and i have lost 60lbs good luck boogie

  • if your not physically hungry your not hungry !! you can do eeet

  • Pretty soon those cravings will go away, Boogie. Just keep that willpower up!

  • Some workout machines have tvs on them or if you have your own workout equipment, put it in the living room and work out while you watch tv. you can make it!

  • It's going to be really hard boogie but just imagine how much more you'll be able to enjoy life once you're healthier!

    Keep going Boogie!!!

  • MY MAN dont beat urself up over having a slice or two! AND U MENTIONED SWIMMING, SWIMMING IS ONE OF THE BEST WORKOUTS AND ITS FUN! DONT PUT UR HEAD DOWN KEEP IT UP! YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!

  • go to sleep when ur hungry. that helps

  • @marvin6234 haha thats what i do, im going for that six pack! good tip!

  • Boogie, you got this. food may be tempting but just think of what its going to feel like with a healthier you. if food pushes and tempts you, punch it in the face. im rooting for you

  • Never lose sight of your goals!

  • Boogie! Don't give in my friend. You will win this!!!

  • boogie get up early when its cool and virtually nobody has woken up yet and just take a few walks around the block. you wont get as sweaty becasue the sun won't be at its highest

  • Keep it up bud!

  • Normal human being eat 2000 calories a day, wich is healthy and recommended. Count that this person works in office and DO NOT have to run from 1 place to another. If person is working out daily his body need more food, more calories. Losing weight is a bitch. You can't eat less 1 day and another day eat more. Sorry!

Set mind to path. When you find the path follow it. Get healthy, not for me, not for subscribers, but for your family, friends, girlfriend and most important YOURSELF.

  • But I went through a lot of the same mentality when I started. Just remember next time you are in the gym and you are exhausted

    1. You are fucking DOING IT

    2. You are doing that many more reps or laps than someone sitting at home on their couch

    3. It get's easier.

I promise you will get to a point where you LOVE exercising. Just keep doing it!!!!! (also r/loseit is amazing) :)

  • Alright man. I just watched all of your videos and I am in. I am right by your side through this. It is sooooo encouraging to hear someone who is A. Very well spoken and B. Very well educated on the way losing weight actually works!... I think a lot of people go into dieting and weight loss with crazy misconceptions and want an easy way out. It is totally a lifestyle change.

I just hit my 20 pound lost and have 45 for my ultimate goal. I don't have as much to lose as you... (cont)

  • Boogie--if you're having too many days in a row of exhaustion, you need to check your carb intake--I know your diabetes complicates things, but if you didn't have the diabetes, I'd say you weren't getting enough carbs. Also, 2,500 calories sounds a bit low if that's you're average intake per day. I eat that much sometimes, and I weigh 130 lbs. If you're sure your program is good, then it's just these bad days happen. It passes.

  • You know from a weight loss perspective you don't have to be eating healthy foods to lose weight - Just eat what you were normally eating but less. I saw your fridge, you love those tai pei chinese food things too. I've lost 70lbs eating those.

  • keep it up boogie! :)

  • You're going great Boogie! I've lost 100lbs, and it was the best thing I've ever done for myself. It was a long, slow, hard journey, but looking back at pictures from two years ago it was all worth it!

Watch shows like Heavy, or The Biggest Loser, so that you know what to expect and most importantly know that it *is* possible to lose the amount of weight you want to lose and reclaim your life! You don't need all the fancy training they have to do it, you can do it all on your own! Keep with it!

  • Your beard is the awesomest thing I've ever seen in my whole life! Screw porn!

  • @cmanclan101 Exactly. You can beat this Boogie, we know you can!!!

  • Awesome Boogie cheat days equal fail just have a cheat meal on occasion you got this.

  • Keep it up Boogie, you did it once you can do it again!

  • make sure you don't over do it with the exercises, get used to your new diet before you do anything really heavy. Keep it up Boogie, I'm counting on you man!

  • Are you friends with christopher boykin?

  • Boogie, if you are looking for good exercises try look up exercises for pregnant women. It's a little strange, I know, but those exercise programs are directed towards people with limitations such as pregnancy and obesity.

  • Keep going boogie I have faith in you. You will feel so much better after weight loss

  • Keep it up bud! I know you can do it with our support and before you know it your efforts will pay off.

  • GF going out of town = hello KFC!

  • BRO YOU HAVE US; THE BOOGIE NATION! we got you baby, keep up the good work.

  • Hang in there man, we all believe in you and dont let anyone bring you down, because you can do it.

  • hey boogie, sometimes i find that if you cheat and eat a bunch of bad food a few days later you really start to crave it. don't get discouraged man.

  • 'Impossible is Nothing.' ~ Muhammad Ali.

    You've got this, Boogie!

  • Maybe you need to adjust your calorie deficit, I don't think it's a bad idea to eat your full calorie alotment when you feel like that. You don't have to have the deficit EVERY day. I'm sure the Doctor would agree.

  • Keep it up man we're rooting for you!

  • oh and lifes hard so if its easy your doing it wrong

  • cmon boogie u can do this easy just dont give up because if u do it will be harder then ever to get back into it

  • If I can do it, you can do it. LL Cool J said it best: "That's NOT pain. That's weakness leaving your body." This is where you are symbolically your own best friend and your own worst enemy. Your body will move in a hundred different directions in every nano-second. All you have to do is KEEP BUSY between the couple of hours between your 5 dieted meals. When after your work-outs, play video-games, play magic, masturbate, I don't care - KEEP BUSY so you CAN'T think or eat BAD FOOD!

  • Don't give in boogie, anythings possible when you put your mind to it.

  • very proud for ya my friend

  • come on, man. i think you can do it. you seem an intelligent man to me. you can't let this weight defeat you. think about how much happier you'll be to see that lower number; to *feel* that lower number. it seems tedious, annoying, frustrating...but you have to do it. we all believe in you, man. you can do it. it's hard..but you know what they say; anything worth having doesn't come easy. you can beat this, man. you can win this thing over! people lose weight all the time, man. you can, too.

  • Not that I have to tell you this boogie, but life is hard, I'm proud for you, hang in there and eventually it will get easier, and you'll just feel better and better as you go along.

  • If it helps, give yourself a cheat meal a week, not a cheat day, but a cheat meal, and don't take it to the extreme for that one meal. I've read from quite a few people on MFT that most of them do have cheat meals. It helps them feel like they're not compeltely depriving themselves of all the things they love. Then again some say 1 cheat meal can turn into 2, into a day, afew days etc. It's a slippy slope down, so hold your head high and keep working at it. It's never easy.. but you CAN do it<3

  • It gets easier as you go. You can do it this.

  • The fact that you are honest with yourself about it all is half the battle buddy. I'm going through the same thing right now. I get major cravings for the weirdest foods right now. Like Frodo trying to resist putting on the one ring! Once I figure out what exact food I'm craving I can't get it out of my head and I end up pacing around the kitchen drinking ice water and chewing gum until my jaw hurts.

  • Why don't you take energy supplements? to boost yourself up until you lose the fat

  • I think it's great you made a vlog about this! Shows how serious you are Boogie!!! You're right on track sweetie. :)~

  • Keep trying. Once I heard that it takes 21 days to form a habit so hopefully you're over a third of the way through the hardest part.

  • Sorry to hear you are having a hard time bro. I will pray for you. Please keep up the good work. I will love you and watch your videos either way but you are a inspiration for alot of us. Good luck!

    -Elz

  • it will get easier as you go. exercise can cause cravings. if needed back off on the deficit. always aim for your goal. if you dont like atkins try southbeach. im starting a diet to. thanks, your helping others. bcdown380

  • look at all the support you have man. =)

  • yep. it's hard. it's hard for someone who is slightly overweight. if it was easy, everyone would be skinny. Es ist wie es ist

  • It gets better man....promise.

  • Keep it up Boogie. I'm rooting for ya!

  • Focus on the little things. Keep hitting the calorie goal. Once that becomes a habit, start introducing exercise. For me, the first thing I did was just cut out sugar, now I've moved onto eliminating grains. But, it took me a month of no sugar to move onto the next step. Try and shoot for making a healthy snack choice (fruit and veggie) instead of packaged goods. BUT, most importantly, do what works for you, don't try and do it all at once and keep working at it.

  • Can I make a humble suggestion. Fresh produce, aka vegetables and fruit will give you some great energy! I haven't heard you mention much about drinking water. Do you do this as well? Fight for it Boogie! Fight for it! Break this addiction! You can do it!

  • Whenever I get a really bad hunger craving, I usually just lay down on the couch and eat a bunch of Doritos until the feeling passes. Works pretty well for me:-)

  • Boogie, it's not just about getting under your calorie goal!! Eat meat, nuts, veggies, and fruit! NO WHOLE GRAINS. LOW LOW CARBS. Carbs just turn to sugar, like Special K and such. They are NOT good for you.

  • we got your back boogie keep going, and DONT give at ALL, do what you cant to not even take in a guilty day. go for it boogie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you should lose 1 pound a week. 52 weeks in a year.... you do you the math. plus you dont gotta worry about stretch marks and skin sag if you lose weight gradually

  • this is normal man you got this

  • u got this dude just don't let it get to u

  • Stay strong Boogie, it's all about being persistent at this point and you've just got to keep on hammering through.

  • Boogie everyone saw this wall coming right from the start, but we all know you can overcome it. So you just need to break through that wall like the Kool-aid man and keep running through and don't stop.

  • 8,000 last week a full pizza this week ...cmon boogs :) just chew some gum or something

  • YOU CAN DO EET!!

  • Boogie I had that feeling too because I started to work out as well.

but 2 days after I felt like this the exercises felt good and I saw huge progress.

in just 1 week I nearly doubled my hearth and lung capacity so if you are exhausted or very tired you are closing in on that point Boogie.

    DO NOT GIVE UP!

  • You can eat all the wheat flours you want for carbs. Ive been down this road, keep it up =-]

  • Just take a look at that like bar Boogie, we're all here to support you. Keep fighting and just know that things will get easier, in time you will get used to training/eating better.

  • You are only eatting 2500 calories a day? You probably dont need to go that exteme. It will make you lose weight faster but weight loss is a long term thing. You should find out how much calories you need to maintain your weight and then go from there. if you exercise you can probably lose weight just as fast if you are at 3000 or maybe even a little more. But hey, if it is working keep going :) just advise. split up your meals. exercise. if you need to cheat, Once a week! goodluck.

  • Suck it up Boogie. When i diet I find sleeping helps curve my cravings. Wake up feeling great knowing you didn't break.

  • Hang in there Boogie! I'm on a weight loss plan myself and my mantra has become, "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels" just say that to yourself every time u have a food craving

  • THIS is the part of weightloss that seperates the fatties from the men. Its time to step up and tell the world that it is going to be your bitch from now on. Get alpha a fuck and dont take shit from food, lose that weight boogie.

  • @cmanclan101 LOL very well said! But don't lose the weight Boogie because when you lose something then eventually you want to find it. Get RID of the weight! Throw it away! Kick it's ass! You can do it and hopefully so can I. I want 150 pounds GONE off my body and I don't have anyone helping or supporting me.

  • you got the touch, YOU GOT THE POWWWAAAAAAHHHH

  • You should take up smoking cannabis if you cant get over your oral fixation.

  • The hand cranks are painful, but that means they're working. If they weren't painful, you're not doing it hard enough. It sounds corny, but embrace the pain. Tell yourself every time you feel it that you're losing weight because of it.

  • *Casts fortitude willpower on Boogie*

  • Cmon, Boogie! You can do it! Fight through it, dude!

  • And third, you have US, Boogie! We are here to support you man! Keep it up!!!

  • man you shouldnt be having cheat meals when you only started for a week, it doesnt work like 1 week workout 1 cheat meal. its more like 1 month of hard work and maybe a cheat meal.

  • Boogie your getting over that 1 week hump! It'll get better dont worry man! you've got a lot of people on your side! we all know you can do it!

  • Don't get frustrated boogie! Think about how you will feel when you drop all that weight off; you just need to keep on going!

  • After a few weeks, a diet is like night and day. Keep to it, Boogie. Noticeable results man!

  • 1.) Are you decreasing your calorie intake too dramatically? On Weight Watchers you would decrease it slowly as you lose weight. Just a thought. 2.) That annoyance you feel while exercising is, not to be rude (I'm losing weight too), but why you are overweight. Emotional eating...I want it bc I want it, so eff you...not wanting to do what's uncomfortable. Yeah, only advice: stop being such a puss. ;) <3 ya. Have a great day!

  • WTF that blanketish towelish whatever it is in the bottom right corner!! its MOVING!!!!!1!Boogie get out of your house! YOU HAVE A GHOST ! :O

  • @BeatlesFan32 Air condition

  • That's the thing... It's easy to get fat but super hard to lose it.

  • can soemone tell me wtf is gluten and what contains it?

  • @ssirK1994 Mainly Candy/Sweets and some other things. Its used as a preservative, very salty, and is made with boiled up animal parts. Marshmallows have it as a main ingredient :3

  • @SoulCraftTV what has bin read cannot be forgotten

  • @ssirK1994 ??? That doesent make any sense

  • @ssirK1994 Gluten is the stuff that is in wheat flour and some other grains flour that makes bread light and airy. Without gluten bread dough would not rise when yeast was added to it.

  • Thank you for being honest. It is smart to vent and get the support you need. I need to get back at it. You working so hard toward it has given me the desire to start up again.

  • Keep it up man!

  • NO GLUTEN NO GLUTEN NO GLUTEN.

    Now understand?

  • shake it off man! you can do it! WE CAN DO IT!

  • Keep it up, Steven! Its a hard thing. Ive been doing a version of the juice diet seen in, 'Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead' along with the program, 'Couch to 5K'. Im on my second week and it is hard as hell to keep going. But Im down over 10lbs and that alone is my motivation. Keep strong, Boogie. We are all on your side.

  • Keep up the good fight Boogie! I know you can do it and we all believe in you! Keep on pushing through and show life whose boss.

  • It's a real bitch man! Keep it up though brother! A lot of us out here are fighting the battle too. Thanks for these videos, you're our voice!

  • It will get easier the more days you stick with it.

  • Can't come up with an awe-inspiring or sensational comment today. Just keep up the good work, Boogie!

  • He's right about the gluten, take it out, and craving will be absolutely gone,

  • Dude, dont talk as if your unsure of willpower, it's a state of mind man! Focus!

  • I'm stuck at home! Due to the summer holidays, and I boredom eat! Which isn't fucking good! I need to do more exercise when I get cravings..

  • Dude... Boogie, you inspire me man.

  • stick with it. What really broke it for me was I was on a good run , and just broke my diet and ate the worst thing..and felt so guilty and horrible afterwards. 5 weeks later, i have not touched anything bad since because I associate guilt and bad feelings with eating bad foods. I associate positive feelings with eating right and exercising. You will pull through. Praying for ya, boogie!

  • Boogie, there are people getting over meth addictions in the world. You can do this. :)

  • Hey Boogie I have a thought use some of your utube money and get on nutisystem. I was on it and lost 50 pounds it's a great way to jump start your program and it's easy to follow. Just a idea great work so far this is a life change and it's not easy but you can do it.God bless my friend.

  • Hey boogie pizza is not an evil thing, you can eat pizza as long as it falls in your calorie alottment... like for instance a slice of medium thin crust veggie lovers from pizza hut is just 180 calories. seriously though i find what helps me when i have to exercise is daydreaming, find some form of repetativr exercise an allow your mind to be m i a. oh and chewing gum helps with stress

  • I've been getting up early in the morning to go for a long walk, it's really motivated me and I feel so good about doing it but I've been feeling incredibly tired and have very little energy to do anything else. I do feel that the benefits outweigh the negatives in this though.

  • You clearly have a lot of utuber support. I there with them dude. Keep up the good work. It will get worse before it gets better. I expect detoxing is a B***ch. But the rewards will be huge. U r way to young for type 2 diabetes, CPAP and a shorter life expectancy. Imagine not having these things loom over u.

  • I am a little concerned though when u say in breath u ate pizza on Saturday and your favourites on Friday But you exercised. This sounds a. counterproductive and b. as though you reward yourself. U r entitled to pat yourself on the back for your efforts u r doing a comendable job but if u r don't reward yourself with very nemesis u r trying to beat.

  • @baddyable there's nothing wrong with pizza and favorite foods, as long as they are eaten in moderation. One cannot go cold turkey overnight and start eating only healthy food. The important thing here is losing weight while improving food choices--it's a process.

  • Boogie - u r doning it tough but u r on track. I am not sure however if u r suffering a "calorie deficit" tough. The whole point is that the body utilises adipose stores for energy. The truth is u r are in positive calorie balance. As long as u get adequate vitamins and minerals and fibre and protein, the calorie requirements for metabolism r suppossed to be met by your current excess not consumption.

  • @baddyable The part about him being in positive calorie balance is correct, but the breakdown of stored fat will not supply all of the nutrients his body needs at his current body weight. His tissues still want the protein and carbohydrates that he has eliminated in order to lose weight. That's why it's so hard--the body keeps telling you that it wants to eat more than you're giving it when you're dieting. This is why it's so important to do the weight loss slowly.

  • Boogie, don't look this diet as a temporary solution, look at it as a whole new perception on life. Don't get frustrated because if you quit it's only getting worse or the same. Look at this as something usual and try don't pay much attention to it.

Now food play a major part in your life. But remember. Eat to live, don't live to eat

  • Hey Boogs... looks like good news to me man.

Feeling grumpy and generally tired & flat is a good sign.

That body of yours is shifting gear... and like a stubborn child, it doesn't know what's good for it and will resist.

Too bad body, Boogie's in charge and one day you will thank me for this.

Delaying gratification is the key to improvement and success in anything worth while.

Soon you wont want to get out of that pool because you'll be racing!

  • Remember, you're only exercising for about an hour max, you have the rest of the day to watch TV.

  • You're changing a lot in your diet... your body isn't very happy.... KEEP pushing on hun, you got this!

  • Your supposed to be tired, if your not your doing something wrong. Turn your frustration into motivation. Everytime you crave bad food, go and exercise ! CMON MAN KEEP IT UP!

  • You can do it Boogie!!! It'll all pay off in the end!

  • Boogie a tip on dieting is you want to drink ALOT of water. If you get hungry drink water, if your still hungry drink more water (Though you dont want to drink a harmful amount of it) Great vids boogie and i support you 110% all the way through ;) Good luck!

  • Just the thought of bad foods can be dangerous. If I were you, I would equate the thought of pizza for example, with the thought of skinning a cat. It may be gross and weird, but it should be. That should be enough to help deter you from giving in.

It's 100% mind over matter buddy. And I know you have the mind to do this!

  • Stay strong boogie. It will all be worth the struggle in the end.

  • I lost 60 pounds and this is what I eat:

    Drink water ONLY!

No skin boiled/ baked/ steamed chicken breast.

    Baked/boiled potatoes

    lettuce, tomato, onions

    Boiled/ baked or steamed salmon

watermelon, green grapes, basically all vegetables and fruits

  • Most things you want in life you don't want to do the work for it. But you have to if you REALLY want it. I want to be fit. So I'm working out and dieting. I want to be good at math so I'm taking extra math classes. Half the time I don't want to be there. But I remember that what I want is to be healthy and good at math, so everyday whether I want to be there that day or not I work my ass off. Remember, its the guy that ran the extra 100 meters, studied the extra hour. That ends up winning.

  • stay strong bro. you can do it. and when its all over you will feel so great and all those days of pain and frustration will be forgotten.

  • pretend to be francis while working out! the you can nerd rage the weights and shit and get all mad and work out harder :P

  • boogie u got this man stay confident man ur winin this figt this will change ur life foreva and 4 the best . in our thoughts XD

  • Boogie, I had to do those arm crank exercise before and it felt like punishment. You can find an alternative and enjoy yourself a little more. Everyone hits the wall. It is important you don't t hurt yourself when you hit the wall, and take time to recover. Give your body what it needs and you will be ready to go in a day, or two.

  • GET ANGRY AT THE WEIGHTS. It helps alot when your frustrated or tired of working out.

  • You give in to the cravings and still manage to find excuses to defend the fact that you're being weak. That's how addiction works, I know...

One pizza ruins the entire week of dieting for you. Especially seeing as how your size doesn't allow you to even come close to the amount of exercise needed to lose all those calories and the fat you're getting from eating one pizza. Give in to the cravings just once a week and you'll just keep gaining weight. Take it more seriously from now on, Boogie.

  • Stay strong boogie

  • try sunflower seeds, good way to work for a snack and be rid of the hunger cravings

  • BOOGIE YOU CAN DO IT I BELIEVE IN YOU

  • Don't worry Boogie. You will do it! Whooo!

  • Come on boogie you have everyones support and we will always be here to encourage you!! Just take it one day at a time forget about tomorrow just live for today remember "One day at a time" stay focused on the prize boogie! It will make you feel so awesome to see how far you came when it's over! :D

  • Keep it up brother! You are doing your best

  • have you tried going to the pool with some more people? maybe setting a certain day in the week where you and multiple friends go swimming together, it might keep things more interesting and give you some extra support

  • don't give up Boogie !! you can do it just take it one day at a time and it will become easier =)

  • Make sure you get good sleep too! That can help A LOT with exhaustion!

  • cmon boogie, you are good enough to beat this. everyone person writing you, every person watching your video all cares for you in one way or another. no one wants to be dissapointed and we all want the best for you. things might be looking grim but don't give up! for everyones sake. we are all rooting for you!

    Devan

  • Steve, fight hard man. The only way you can lose the battle is if you surrender. Im really cheering for you, and I wish I could give you a little boost when you're at your weakest.

  • You are most likely allergic to Gluten as well, Boogie. If you took most or all out of your diet, the weight would FALL off. It did for me. Good luck!

  • Good luck sir. I"m praying for you as well as myself. I'm trying to lose as well. I have a hell of a time like you with getting tired really fast and not being able to walk for a long time. I may do the weight loss surgery.

  • Im proud of you boogie, been her since the beginning and ill be with ya till the end.. You're doin great

  • If you have an oral fixation then ya might need to chew sugar free gum or something. That helped me quit dipping smokeless tobacco. If ya keep ya mouth moving might help ya with the cravings :) Also watching 2DayWithPatrickJ helps you lose tons of weight and gets you laid..which is excise ,my friend.

  • keep er going boogie! you can do it! cut his freeking ba-- oh wait wrong line of encouragement.

but we all are rooting for ya keep going and lose that weight we want to around for a long long time :D

    stay strong man

  • You're doing awesome! The discomfort is a sign that what you are doing is having an effect. Follow your nutritionist's advice and things will settle down soon. Protein and fibre are your friends. And hey, so are we!

  • Fuck those walls Boogie!!! They ain't nothing compared to the buttfucking I'll give you if you don't keep it up.

  • You've done a lot. You cannot give up. We all believe in you.

Think about it. Changing a lifestyle doesn't occur overnight. If you need to do less, then I'd suggest do less - just don't give into the negativity. Try to eat less, try to work out more. Even if it's just a little bit, all those little bits add up.

    Wish you the best.

  • You got as many day as you want!!! Dont give up!!! we want let you! Get mad you son of a bitch and use your anger to keep going. Look at the beautiful woman you got and use it, keep going just a few more weeks and it will become a normal for you, dont you give up on this!!!!! YOU GOT TO PUSH MAN!!!!
