In Singapore there are alot of Filipino live band & these people can really sing. Ballet, Rock, R&B, POP, Jazz you name it. Even Chinese songs. So it is no surprise to read about ABS view of Charice. I would guess that everyday they receive thousands of videos saying they are the next big thing. Even Lea Sanolia gave a very good discripition of what the Philipine network look for in a star. Slim, Fair Skin & Long hair. But I guess as the saying goes "Never judge a book by it's cover" is true.

Everyone but Filipinos were willing to give Charice a standing ovation, yet when they saw everyone else doing it they all jumped the band wagon. They got no eye for talent, only eyes for looks... It's shameful when you claim to be proud to be Pinoy yet you only do it when they accomplish something outside the Philippines and you act as if you were supporting them since the beginning. ABS-CBN can go to hell, they didn't even think she qualified as a singer and made her a wild card.
