Basically in the film there are these mechanical organs and if you can't pay for them then these repo men come and take them back which can more likely than not kill the person so these two have fixed the scanner thing to make it look like it's been reclaimed so they can clear their accounts and well he's cutting her up to scan the organs if that makes sense
