hey, can i use a bigger esc and battery to this planes engine?? because i got this plane without the esc but i have anpther plane but i crashed it and it had a bigger engine...
@tension888 i meant that i would like to use my bigger esc and battery to the original engine from this (AXN) plane. wont the smaller motor burn at full speed?
Hey, nice video man..... How did you go about 'setting' the flaporon?? What transmitter would you recommend? My first glider arrived this morning and i cant wait to get home and set it up.... Did you tape the rudder/aileron etc? Finally, how did you mix rudder with aileron? Presumably its automatic with aileron controls (only moving the right stick on tx) Cheers

Based on your experience in this plane what Motor-ESC-Battery-Prop should I use so I can make it little bit faster than the stock motor but also make it able to fly more time? I am asking you because I will make this plane for FPV and I don't trust the stock electronics. I don't need is crazy fast, just little bit more. And the biggest battery I can fit in! Thanks!!!
@illuminatorix first of all... the best prop is 6x4 APC then u choose the motor according to the prop. motor 2000kv-2200kv. ESC 25A-30A. lipo s3 2200 25/30c.
When you try to launch from grass, the torgue effect will make the plane squirrel toward the left, you need to gradually power up the throttle to built up sufficient airspeed and kick in the right rudder and up elevator at the same time.

no need to put flaps on when taking off grass. pull up on the elevator sooner. it will go up. good plane

@ktoschris yes u can but there are limited space for you to mount a bigger motor. i suggest give it a try ^^

@ktoschris the stock motor can support up to s3 lipo. how many Mah dosent matter. 25A ESC will be fine for the stock motor.
for eg. u can use 60A ESC but it wont increase the speed as long as the motor only pull abt 18-22A

I'd take a look into the Microjet and Megajet motors by Grayson Hobby if i were you. Huge power from a small 6x4 prop.

so... urs ques.
(only when you want to do wing mixing setup)
the original Y connector servo cable still using but only connected
to 1 aileron servo. the other 1 im using another servo cable :)
