  • Awesome video, I just ordered my 21C through my FFL and I can't wait to get it. I have already ordered a Lonewolf barrel and night sights for it. I plan on using this for home defense as well as range shooting and I don't want the compensated barrel in it when I am using it for defense.

  • Great vid love the g21C I own one and flash is not a big issue for me NOW on the other hand my AK AT that muzzle the flame shooting out it is like huge and still don't have any issue with the muzzle flash . But I guess to some folks it might be a problem . Thanks for a cool Video

  • im only 5'4 and the 21c fits perfect in my hands

  • Nice video. I have a 21 and modded it with a Lone Wolf 6" Thredded Barrel, Compensator, Long Slide, Tru-Glo Night Sights, Chrome Pins, Chrome Extended Slide Release, 2 Chrome Back Plates Laser Etched with a wolf and U.S. Army.

    Anyone curious, go to

    w w w . lonewolfdist . com

  • Have you tried any night shooting? I am considering 45acp and I was looking at the 21. Does it really help with the felt recoil and is the flash too much to consider as a ccw?

  • Damn bro...I miss watching your vids. How you been? Why did you stop doing videos?

  • it can be converted to 10mm also. bet you didn't know that. good for self defense against black bear or cougar then security work later i suppose

  • lol i dont think it could blind you. ive shot mine many times in the dark and its not that bright of a flash! i would recommend it as a self defense gun and when i compared it to a glock21sf the C model does have less muzzle jump when rapid firing so i notice i could double tap and hit two cans quicker and more accurately than a non compensated glock21

  • I know it is a double action only but could you fit a double single in to it?

  • Nice job, very informative well presented video. Thanks

  • Just bought me a Glock 21C today after trying it out. For being half the weight of my Para LTC .45 it had almost exactly the same recoil and felt great in the hand. Both handle like a dream and will be reliable essentially forever. BUT the main difference is precisely what you said too, FMJs for the 21C only unless I buy an after market barrel. Means a bit more cost for ammo and less use for reloading here. My Para will shoot anything out of it. I generally use Blazer Brass .45 rounds.

  • Good job !

  • i have never noticed a difference in recoil with compensated and lack there of, to my understanding using personal defense rounds with a compensated barrel takes away from the overall ballistics of the round, the .45 acp dosent move too fast and i want all the energy of the round leaving out the front end of the gun, not through the top, am i the only one that thinks ported and compensated barrels take away from your overall muzzle velocity

  • @scoutsgt18b

The difference is negligible from every standpoint.

  • Excellent work man.. I just got my G-21 SF and wondering if you could help me to buy the best suitable.45 ACP ammo for practice, not sure what grain to buy. I'm also new to guns and any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  • THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO. I've been looking around lately. Debating on the G19 or G21sf, G21C. and as of now i liked your demonstration. That weapon looks mad comfortable and fun to shoot. So thank you for pinning my choice :D

  • I've fired both C and non-C versions and there is a difference in the recoil for me, unlike the video uploader (he seems bigger than me though). Just throwing my two cents in.

  • I just fired my 21c at night for the first time with no issues concerning flash blindness, i was however using hollow point home defence ammo. some ammo may cause this but all be told i would recommend this weapon over the non-C model just for the recoil feel. there is a noticeable difference,at least for me. thanks for making these videos, they do inform and i have begun to see better results at the range in regards to using some of your techniques. your a great american.

  • I have a 21sf and have trouble getting 13 rounds (I can't do it) in the magazine. Is it me or is it the mag?

  • @Vidwatcher321 he knows what he's talking about, so I bet he's got lots of experience. Of course, as he explains at 1:10 that the Glock 21C is designed to reduce recoil.

  • thanks for the review. ill go with a standard uncompensated i guess.. less maintenance and cons. also if the C's recoil is about the same as a regular then i see no point in getting a C.

once again thanks for the review, nice video.

  • i had a choice- a g21 or a 1911

how the hell can you beat the 21

  • im trying to decide on the 21C or a 1911. care to help me out?

  • I would love to own a 1911 BUT --glock 13 rounds --out of the box- needs no break in --out of the box- needs no bench work ( i know guys that have 1911 that have needed a little bit of work by a gun smith) --fewer parts --a jackass can strip and clean --they shoot all junk ammo --clean it with a spray can of WD-40 --other glock parts (#s) will fit your glock --out of the box accurate -- I live across the street from a phila police armory cop (ret).
  • The guy across the street helped test them in phily years ago. He says they cant be beat. Its the AK-47 of handguns.

    good luck bro

  • @rickbar123 1911's are for people who like to shoot glocks are for people who have to shoot

  • thats a good point

  • with a 20 ;)

but i would choose a 1911 navy model, colt of course ;]

  • try the kriss mag extension for the 21, works great for me. 17 round ext.

  • 15+1 rounds of .45 acp..... words cannot describe how truly awesome that is.

  • Compensators effect muzzle flip more than felt recoil. Reducing muzzle flip is important in shooting multiple targets as the front sight returns to the target more quickly to allow for quicker shots.

  • Do they make a Glock 21c sf?

  • it has never been produced yet, but there's no reason glock couldn't make one.

  • the compensated ports in no way blind you at night.

  • Yeah, I thought that was bullshit too.

  • nevermind..........its a 34 with a light coil........do you prefer the 9 with less punch or is the 45 cal 21c have a heavier recoil?

  • 21c as in 21 calibur or 45 cal?

  • any glock model with a C refers to "compensated" as he says in the first 2 minutes. so a glock 21C is a .45 ACP glock full size with a ported slide. a glock 19C is a 9mm compact glock with a ported slide

  • the C in 21C means compensated. It is not a .22 gun. It shoots .45 ACP.

  • why do the glocks always fail that lazy wrist test

  • I belive its because the slide of the glocks is heavier than the frame of the gun itself,

  • Man, you can seriously shoot! Not sure if I'll ever get that good. Good review.

  • Great review thanks.

  • Thanks for another great and infomative video - one slight issue is the sound on your videos, I', not sure if it's my PC but your video's though excellent in every other regard have poor sound quality - just thought you'd like to know - keep up the good work and the great videos

  • Yea I noticed that too. He should get a better Camera! So we can enjoy more of his awesome videos.

  • great work.

question- i've noticed some images on the internet of the 21c showing no rail molded..yours looks to have the same receiver of my brand new 21 (not C) WITH the rail

do you know if they all come with the rail now and the images i've seen are just outdated generations?

    Thanks-

  • Most likely the pictures you seen was of oldder GEN G21 models cause I'm pretty sure all newwer Glock 21 models have the rail , inclueding 21 ,21C , 21SF.....

    Just my 2 cents

  • Hey bro, as usual, nice work. Between you and "nutnfancy", I'm constantly entertained and informed with the plethora of knowledge and practical applications of various firearm systems. Keep up the great work! Semper Fi!

  • Thanks for showing your support man , you should maybe also check out my old friend Rugersix channel.

  • He's a red-blooded American. A Patriot. One that will be able to act if/when the time comes. And you? Why are YOU so concerned about why a patriot is so into guns? If you aren't a true American, you'll never understand that a PATRIOT AND HIS RIFLE are the real reason that America is the most free country in the world.

  • you my friend...I like. wonderful comment.

    ( thumbs up)

  • nice video, thanks.

  • I just always have enjoyed firearms and shooting. Before I could have real firearms I use to own a bunch of BB and pellet guns and then moved up to Crossbows and Bows.

  • Yo this is a nice gun. Is it easy to maintain???

  • Very easy , just like pretty much all glocks.

    Thanks for watching

  • i think settle for the base glock 21

    fuck california though

    im movin to arizona !

  • Hey Mike.

Ive seen you talk recently about how you have 3 GLOCKs.

Did ya have to get rid of this one??

  • I'd like to have both ported and non ported capabilities in my 21C. Say I wanted to put a non ported aftermarket barrel in my 21C, would there be anything that I should know about doing so first?

  • No not really man , just remeber if you do go with a Aftermarket barrel that most aftermarket barrels have tighter chambers and this could make the firearm a little less reliable. ( Most likely you won't have a problem with one but I just wanted to make sure you know this )

You could also just buy and Stock Glock 21 barrrel and not have to worry about that.

  • Cool, thanks for the info. I actually hadn't even considered a factory 21 barrel. That seems like the best route. Thanks again.

  • Awesome review man. You just sold me on the non c version for night or low light firing! Thanks!!!

  • Dam Mike, Nice shoot bro

  • this is my fav review i just turned 18 in september and im in college but when i get my apartment i planed on getting a weapon .45 because i like the caliber

if you have any 9mm can you do a review on the differeces between 9mm and .45 and what is da diff between the diff .45 calibers like the acp and others and what is the diff between .45 glock and colt 1911

  • As always, great video man. Wish I could get my hands on a couple of high capacity magazines, but CA sucks when it comes to firearms lol

  • Well I have a box full of them and a pay pal account.I live in Washington. It's not illegal for me to send them but it's illegal for you to have them. Their 13 round mags. 35 bucks for one 2 for 60 plus shipping. Let me know man.

  • Damn Cali and its 10 round clips.

I wish I would have got the C version, thats a nice lil change. Although I got mine for home protection, so maybe the C version wouldnt be the way to go? Since it might blind you at night time.

  • Exellent vid bro! Done very professionally. Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks for the vid. I just purchased one this weekend. So thanks for the info.

  • Its called practice , practice and more practice lol.

No but really man this glock has far less recoil than all other 45acp handguns I have shot. Control the recoil in her is really pretty easy.

  • nice work with the video. the c is definitely the one to get IMO.

btw, is that mister rogers' show set in the background haha

  • even better, get an extended compensated aftermarket barrel. No blackening of the front sight and no loss in muzzle velocity

  • Great vid. Very informative. Keep up the good work.

  • DAMN! The difference in recoil between regular 21 and 21C is remarkable!! I should have bought a C version instead of regular...For those considering buying Glock 21, go definetely for 21C.

  • Comment removed

  • Awsome vids keep up the good work...

  • Very good review. You should check out some reviews from nutnfancy. He does tabletop reviews so he doesn't always shoot his guns. I have a glock 30 also chambered in 45acp, also very good recoil better than a 1911 even for it's small size in my opinion. I'm thinking about getting a 3.5 lb connector from Lone Wolf just wondering how you like them.

  • What type of ammo were you using for your practic session , just curious, Thanks great reviews I would like to see reviews for the xd 40 when you get the chance

  • I'm pretty sure I was using WWB ammo in this video ( Winchester White Box )

  • have you ever shot the 32 c and what do you think

    thanks

  • No sorry man I have not shoot a 32C yet

  • You got the Pearce +2 baseplates, correct?

  • Yes they are the Peace + 2 baseplates for 10mm-45acp.

+ 2 in 45acp is pretty tight but +2 in 10mm fits much easier ( AKA its easier to ger 2 more rounds in the magazine )

  • what was causing it to jam at 8:15?????

  • This is called a " Limp Wrist Test " and many Auto handguns will fail this test & jam with target ammo.

Do a search on youtube and you'll see what I mean.

  • Is there any that don't? I've never seen one that didn't Jam, i thought the recoil was required to chamber the next round.

  • Thanks Alot Keep Up The Good Work You The Man....

  • Hello Like Your Glock 21C Video's.I Am A HK 45ACP Guy And Had Some Glock's But Sold Them. Then Want To Gun Show & Got Two Glock 21SF 45ACP & I Love Them Outstanding.Need To Ask You Few Questions Got A SWR Silencer For My Hk 45 ACP,Were Can I Two Barrels To Fit The Glock 21SF Model,So I Can Switch The Swr From Hk To Glock Thanks For Your Time Keep Up The Outstnding Work....

  • Well to tell you the truth I'm not to sure about that man , The G21SF are still pretty new & I'm not sure if the big barrel making places make them yet but if they do try Lone Wolf , KKM , Bar-sto...

Lone Wolf will be the cheapest of the 3 but sometimes LW puts out a few lemons from time to time ( In which case they will replace for free ) not to say KKM or Bar-sto don't put out a lemon from time to time also but it seems to be far less with them.

  • I thought this was a very informative and well demonstrated video. Thank you for taking the time. I traded in my 9mm for a used 21C in very good condition today, $459. I bought it for all the "pros" you mentioned. There was one glaring "con" I hadn't considered...the flash from the compensator. I wish I had seen your video prior to my purchase. I may have looked harder for a G21 instead. If as you mention, the recoil on both are similar, it makes the ports more of a negative than a positive.

  • No problem man thanks for watching.

From what I hear the ports more come in handy when using Higher power Ammo like +p stuff or Tap ammo ( As in the Hotter the round the more the ports help keep the muzzledown ) but the cool thing is all you need to do is buy a stock Glock 21 barrel and BAM you pretty much have both a normal 21 & a 21C ( Something you can't do with a normal G 21 Slide )

  • what holster do you use for your g21?

  • I'm pretty sure I was using just a simple Uncle Mikes Paddle Holster in this video.

  • thanks.

i'm looking to buy a handgun-home defense/range gun. i live in a 15rd limit state so i basically got it down to the glock 21 sf, the fnp .45 or the glock 19. budget is an issue lately but i do love the 45. i dont know about aftermarket accessories and stuff. what do you think?

    help me out man.

  • Hello kickedintheballs2000,

Great review. Do you think the glock 21 is better than a typical .45 acp like Springfield 1911 type pistols? Is the power of the glock 21 in the same neighborhood as other lower capacity .45 pistols?

    thanks.

  • I like the G21 over the 1911 type pistols but alot of oldder guys don't. I know a few people that shoot IDPA with a Glock 21 and they always have far less problems then the 1911 type pistols ( I always see a 1911 jam at least once when at a match ).

The power of the firearm really has nothin to do with the firearm but only about the round you shoot through it , so they are the same in that point but I still would take a Glock 21 over a 1911 anyday ( Just My Opinion )

  • I would have to agree.

  • Guess what guys, Obama already introduced a bill into congress attempting to revoke ANY CITIZENS right to CCWP (Conceal Carry Weapons Permit.

    Fuckin liberals.

  • I guess its time to start open carrying again.

  • lmao people rushing out buying guns nothing will happen to the law dont worry

  • Where did you read about this? I voted Obama, however I think gun rights are one of the most important rights we have as Americans. It pisses me off how millions of Americans tolerate crime by not arming themselves and being proactive about self defense.

  • I hope you guys don't vote for Obama! That guy will take our gun rights away!

  • Really? Says who?

  • He is against guns! Pick up this months issue of Rifleman magazine. I can't believe you haven't heard this already! Do you own guns?

  • I don't own a gun yet. I'm looking to get a Glock 21 sometime soon. I just read this one article where he said he respects our 2nd Amendment and he's not going to take our guns away from us. He respects hunters, clay shooters, target shooters and so on (for law abiding citizens). I don't think any president can literaly take that right from us.

  • I hope you're right! If you remember, pick-up that mag. Very interesting article. I'm sure not all that was said is true, but it made me think. Other than that I have nothing against the guy! I am a Republican anyway so..... Great guy choice BTW! I have 2 Desert Eagles and I just got the Beretta PX4 Storm in the 40cal.

  • sorry that should have been Great GUN choice not guy! lol

  • I'm a Republican too! I will definately read that article.

  • Cool!

  • Sure, if you think only have access to a .22LR is OK. They can't (so far as we've seen) take all our firearms away, but they sure as hell can "regulate" them -- I.e. band handguns, ban semi-automatics, ban certain calibers, etc.

  • I didnt vote for obama...Hell I didnt vote at all im 16 XD

  • lol i woulda voted for obama but wasent in the country at the time

  • You've made some great videos here; I think I have watched almost all of them.

I am thinking about getting a 21c, where did you get the $530 price?

    Thanks again for the videos.

  • No problem man thanks for watching.

I got mine from our local firearm store here in Michigan. ( Keep in mind some stores are cheaper & some states have more firearm tax ) .

And if all else fails I bet you can get a pretty good used G21C for under 500 or less.

  • i actually owned a winchester 1300 too. what all guns you got??

  • Do you ever buy used firearms and if you have what sould you look for?

  • Very nice video man! Do you like live out in a very secluded area? you seem to have Alot of land out there where ever it is if it's yours. That would be awesome honestly. Use guns when you want, where you want.

  • Good vid man, I have a glock 22c and i love it. I use CarBon ammo and it has a little flash to it but im a monster at night or day with it. I have less recoil than my friends g17, and its a tad more accurate. I also have that streamlight for under the barrel i found that this helps when in dark or low light to deter blinding. I have a friend who has a 10mm i may get him to take it out the next time we go and we might make a vid. u own a g22? or g23?

  • Sounds cool man I look forword to seeing the video.

    Yes I have a G23.

  • Glock 21 is a HOLE puncher baby!!! Great to shoot and acurate. I have small hands and can hold on enough to dig a hole in meat. PS: Brass came flying at me the other day as this gun is popular for and landed in between me and my protective eyewear. I shot the next thing I hear is shhhhhhhh! Damm Shit it was the brass sitting on me!! Well I got a scar about the sizeof a 45 casing on my right forehead next to my brow.

  • nice video, iam looking into buying the G21SF model for self defense. Let me know what you think about the G21SF.

  • Well I have heard good things about the G 21SF and due to the little smaller grips on the G21FS I been been thinking about trading in my G21 for a G21FS.

The glock 21FS is pretty much a Glock 21 but with alittle thinner grip & alittle different type picatinny rail.

( I also think the Glock 21FS magazine release is Ambi release )

  • from what I've read you don't really have a problem with muzzle flash at night as long as you use ammunition designed for personal defense like Federal Premium, Gold Dot, Golden Saber, etc. because they are designed to have low flash

  • You're right on the money bro. Just buy ammo w/ low flash propellant and you should be fine. I have a model 22C, and shoot Speer Gold Dot ammo with no " blinding " problems at all.

  • @ 8:10 were you trying to show that you cant limp wrist a glock or what??

  • Well I was not really trying to show it fail but yes most glocks will fail the limp wrist test with normal target loads.

I was simple doing a few types of tests on the firearm to give the people a idea of how the firearm works when firing.

  • great vid, you pointed out some good points i was wondering if you could do a review on the glock 20 10mm that would be great.keep it up your vids are bad ass.

  • Sorry man but I don't own the G20.

  • Your right the c models muzzle flash is blinding at night ore darker situations you need more time between shots to see again , I was all into the c models I though yea lesser recoil , faster rapid fire on targets but no ... if you want a glock for self defense the c models are not the thing ...

  • First of all, nice gun, man. Secondly, do you your gun for home defense or is it more of a "for fun" gun? I'm looking at either the 22C or the 21C and some other non-Glock guns. Nice vid.

  • Well I got this firearm for competition but sadly due to Ammo prices I rarely can shoot it.

  • did you ever use Wolf ammo in this firearm becuase i was looking into buying some for my g21 and i wanted to see if they fire well

  • Yes I use alot of wolf Ammo in the firearm ( In fact I'm using only wolf ammo in the shooting parts of this clip ).

Just make sure you clean the firearm very good after each time of shooting wolf ammo and you should be fine.

  • ha ha deftones: my 2nd fav band next to a perfect circle. i really like your vids and im using them to help me make a decision on the first handgun i purchase when i turn 21 in a few months.

  • Sweet man I hope it helps ya out.

    Happy early Bday!

  • I would stick with the G21 for Millitary use if it was me.

  • So is the 21C is not recommended over the standard 21.?

  • No I wound not say I don't recommended cause I love the G21. I would just think if you plan on using it more for a Concealed carry firearm get the G21 but if you plan on using it more for range and target shooting get the G21C.

  • Must be nice gettin' cheques in the mail from glock.. . XD

  • lol I wish

  • Do you have a review on th H&K USP .45 ACP?

  • No sorry man I owned only one H&K Handgun but I sold it.

  • what did you think of the H&K v. the Glock

  • Well I liked the Accuracy , Grip , and never jammed on me but I didn't like the Price ( Thats a Big One ) & Didn't care for the trigger pull but all in all not a bad firearm I just think they are over priced.

I like glock because I shoot the glocks better then any handgun I had tried and the over all Pro's and Con's about them are the best for my taste but everyone different.

  • Nice Tatical Reloading...

  • Thanks man

  • very informative video thanks

  • dear sir what about kaboom some times seen in these models????

  • Well it can happen just make sure you keep the Barrel clean. ( The biggest glocks at risk of the big Kaboom is the 40 S&W glocks )

  • Kaboom?

  • thats when the barrel Blows up

    KA BOOOOOM

  • Thank you for the detailed review. I wonder if you have a favorite defensive reliable brand of caliber for this model (example, Federal Hydra Shock...or a Cor-Bon, etc....)? I understand some 45 pistols have problems with some calibers. Are there any especially good 45 bullets for this model?

I hope the author answers and welcome any other suggestions.

  • Well to tell you the truth I don't carry this firearm for a CCW gun but glocks will shoot just about all Ammo Brands great. I'm more of a Wincherster SXT HP fan myself but I know alot of people like the Hydra shock.

Maybe check out my ( Hollow Point VS Full Metel Jacket ) clip if you want.

  • Mine should be here this week. My friend just bought a 21SF. With his "pet" loads...the re-coil was nil. Standard winchester 230 ball was VERY easy to manage. Looking forward to trying the C model against the SF to see the differences. Thanks for a great video.

  • No problem man thanks for watching.

  • This type of weapon takes extreme practice to offset its inaccuracy.

Especially when you want very specific marks to be affected by its use.

    good video.

  • Ooh, I want one. Very good review. So the C model has a flash and the ports weaken the barrel; is there any benefit to buying this model over a standard Glock 21?

  • Well its soposto keep the recoil & muzzle flip down and with some types of ammo I bet it does but I kind of wish I would have just got the normal G21 or the G21 SF

  • Ah, thank you very much.

  • You can turn that G21C into a G21 by buying a G21 factory barrel so that you can use it at night or as a defense gun. That is not a picatinny rail, just a glock universal rail.Glock is technically not a double action; if you dryfire it, you will have to rack the slide back after every trigger pull.Spot on with everything else.G21 shoots like my buddy's 9mm ruger; accurate, and low recoil.

  • Very nice video! Well done! I am looking into getting a Glock 20 (same size, as said in the video) in 10mm.

Do you have a Glock 20? If so, make a video on it! That'd be awesome! :)

If not, then go out and buy one, pick up some DoubleTap 135 gr. 180 gr. and 200 gr. ammo and then make a video on it! :D

Heh! j/k. . . unless you'd seriously want to consider it! It's an awesome woods defense / hunting gun! Try it out! :)

  • lol I wish I had the cash to just do that and no I don't own one Yet ( I know a guy that shoots one at match's and he makes shooting that big 10mm look easy )

  • Yes I have and trust me the flash can and will mostley blind you.

And not all firearms create a flash

  • The reason why you see differing accounts on whether ported / compensated barrels flash (or not), is, I believe, due to different ammo having different flashpoint powders in them.

I was reading a guys' account on shooting a Glock 23C at the range, and he got the rangemaster to shut the lights around him; he said he saw no flash that'd blind him.

I've shot a G23C at the range before, but not with the lights off.

You'd have to ask around for which ammo has low flash on it, I think.

  • Yes you got a very good point but I don't think I would ever risk carring a C model for my carry gun ( But thats just my opinion )

  • did you ever consider getting a glock34 or 35

might shoot better than your glock17 and will fit in the same holster

.75in longer barrel and sight lenght

  • Yes I have thought about it and I have even shot a few G34 & G35( Hell I even shoot a G17L ) so most likey one day I will end up getting one.

  • Nice Video!

  • When the "Gunny"retires from his "Full Metal Jacket" appearances and pushin' Glocks at gun shows,KB is gonna take his place and become a star.Maybe he will even make a boot camp vid on the right way to sleep with a Glock 36.Bush is President...but KB"S vids rule the world !!OORAH...

  • LOL Thank you very much man ( Now don't turn that channel Mail call will be right back lol )

  • Hey man, I'm really liking your videos (and I'm not even a "Glock-guy" yet lol, personally prefer the Springfield XD). Anyways, props on the Deftones as well, brings back old memories of when my band covered that song back in high school.

  • Well thanks very much for the good comments and its cool I myself hated Glocks until a firearms dealer talked me into getting one and I loved it and still love it ( Been hooked ever since ).

Ya I had to put some old school deftones in there.

Thanks for checking out my clips man

  • I can hit a target with a Glock 21 fifty yards away with no problem at all. That's what old factories are for...
