  • Reliability , What are you talking about? You say there is issues than what are they? or does Toyota pay your bills.

  • I have yet to hear about reliability issues with the CTS, and I've read lots of reviews from owners. I'm not sure where this guy is getting his information from. Any GM techs have an opinion on this?

  • Can the guy get any more vague?

  • eww dont even try and front on the cts . ANY CTS . and iDidnt like the end where he walked away from it loOkinq weird . Niqqa if you dnt want the fuCkinq station waqon then qive it tu me . Someone who will appreciate whut that car has tu offer . You cunts .

  • Reliability? Have not had one problem with my 08.

  • CTS-V Wagon :) !

  • i dont think i would buy the wagon unless they put a third row seat and it was a good old fashioned station wagon. that would be great.

  • Haha to bad you probably couldnt afford either. but thanks for sharing your meaningless opinion.

  • hey joe, in the toyota highlander vid howcome the toyota unintended acceleration recall wasn't mentioned? I would think that would MORE THAN constitute poor reliability, safety, and quality. But, of course, nobody on your staff has anything to criticize in a toyota.

    CTS has no reliability issues

  • CTS sedan looks way better. The wagon looks like a hearse

  • joe weisenfelder, shut the fuck up about the reliability issue. there isn't one. You were quick to praise the '08 camry you reviewed awhile ago despite its shortcomings you mentioned. Go suck toyotas cock a little more

  • true there is no way in hell taht this car has been out long enough to have documented reliability issues fucking cocksucker how about the audi reliability or benz where the manager openly admited to having had seriously reliability issues with their cars. These fucking people are the reason why ppl say American cars are not reliable.

  • Comment removed

  • looks cool. why don't americans like wagons as much as suvs? the only thing that would deter me is the price and the reliability issue he said 3 times.

  • great stuff... i ain't never buying Jap SHIT!

  • I like the sedan better.

  • GM doesn't make reliable vehicles. That's their biggest downfall and why they have crappy sales number.

  • I'd say their biggest downfall was in cars that weren't quality products from the beginning. I mean, even if the Cobalt was reliable, I wouldn't buy one in a million years unless I got a killer deal from a Hertz or something.

  • I wouldn't buy a car from Hertz perios or any rental car company for that matter, no matter how good the deal was. The saying drive it like a rental is there for a reason. And if you don't like Cadillacs reliability don't shop BMW or AUDI either as their engine reliability is worse... according to long term data from the likes of edmunds and MSN auto that is.

  • "Drive it like a rental?" I've only heard "Drive it like you stole it"

Anyways, there was a big thing in CD or something where they said that rental lots are much safer than they used to be, and I believe them.

Finally, I don't have a problem with any of the newest GM cars' reliability. The Cobalt, though, can't be called reliable, or even close to it.

  • Very sexy car! I'm sick and tired of blandmobiles.

  • It's unreliable? Can anyone shed some light on that fact? I have heard Cadillac's ratings are right up there with some of the best.

Even if they are I think it won't matter for most buyers. I mean they buy the German competition in bulk so why should it matter here?

  • JD Powers ranks Cadillac's quality is one of the best in the industry, only behind Lexus.

  • Yeah the quality of the car when it comes out of the dealer parking lot. It's like Jaguar. They also won that award (or top 3) with Cadillac. However, both of the companies have terrible reliability ratings over time.

  • JD Powers "Dependability Ratings" suck ass. I own a 15 year old Audi A6 and I NEVER had a SINGLE problem with it. During the same time quite a lot friends, family members and colleagues who own a GM vehicle or a Cadillac broke down or had some serious problems with their cars. Two of them had to have their engines replaced after just 8 years. One of them was a Buick, rated 5 stars in the "Dependability Ratings". Besides that the quality of these vehicles is nowhere near Audis.

  • There is a difference in engine reliability between a 15 year old Audi and say and early 2000's A4 don't believe me look it up. They had oil pressure camshaft and cam chain tensioner (which in some severe cases cause piston to valve contact) issues. These are documented. Does this mean all Audis are crap? No it means you would be wise to research any vehicle before you buy it. Even Honda has recalls on products. I agree with you on JD Powers... especially the initial quality ratings.

  • Of course Audis have their issues too. No car is perfect, no German, no Japanese and no American car.

  • Looks great, but if I had to choose I would go for the A4

  • this is a better buy the srx

  • But I don't want to watch a TWO YEAR OLD video of the sedan! I want one complete and flowing product right here.

And, if those were their intentions, they would have put up a link to the video from September of 2007.

  • Okay ... I agree with some of the guys here ... BUT, the cargo area is one of the crucial parts of a wagon and if you want further information about the cts, just watch the review about the cts sedan ... but theres still one thing left: world class?! cmon, this isnt even close to be comparable to the Merc E Class, Audi A6 or BMW 5 series ...

  • The sedan video is grossly outdated- its from September of 2007.

Even if it was new, though, I want a flowing video with one homogeneous car.

  • Why is this called a "review"? All it talks about is the rear cargo area, and mentions some reliability facts that were not cited or anything.

Carscom used to be my favorite channel on Youtube, bar-none. I wrote in once and was even mentioned on their "CarsCast" videos. But lately, they've really let the ball slip. I would say it started with that Mercedes CL "review".

This is really a major disappointment in the world of Youtube. Sad that Carscom is so mismanaged.

  • @bg1379 i feel you brother! . all they really talked about is cargo space.. lame lame

  • Agreed. These reviews have gone downhill.

  • Reliability issues? I have had three CTS's as company vehicles, and I've never had an issue other than one tire pressure monitor.

  • well you must be the only lucky guy then...!

  • almost $56 000? for this POS!! no wonder GM went bankrupt building complete garbage like this!

  • I am not familiar with the recent reliability issues. I do know that Audi BMW and Mercedes all have reliability issues if you bother to look them up. More so than this car in the past but I do not ever remember hearing about it three or four years ago when reviewing a BMW or Audi... so why bring it up now with the Caddy? Unless we are talking something major...I mean the Audi A4 had timing tensioner issues that caused valve damage and if they didn't damage the valvesupon failure cost $700 to fix

  • It shits on that German and jap shit

  • You wish.

  • you got the cts "shit" part right....fag mole

  • everybody is doing their videos on this cts wagon. its like once one channel is done with the car they lend it out to the other. im sure this is the same red cts wagon ive been seein all week

  • World class? In what world?

  • agreed!!
