I was eight when this happened. It scared the crap out of me. This was my first time hearing about anything LGBT and even then I knew it was wrong. This is the hardest part of the movie to watch. It makes me sick. The sad part is things like this happen all the time and they get away with it. Just because someone is LGBT doesnt mean they are less valuable than a straight person. Matthew Shepard, Gwen Araujo, Brandon Teena, Lawrence King, and the list goes on.
