I too tried the Pantene for Women of Color. Ughh I absolutely HATED it for ME personally. I asked my friend if she had tried it and she too hated it along with her sister. Most women say they don't like it. It made my hair soo super dry. Never again will I buy it lol. Not to knock it for those that love it tho! Different products for different people. What works for some doesn't work for others and vice versa =))

i BEARLY noticed right now that it said "avoid fire, flame, & smoking during application

until hair is fully dry" oops.. haha i just put it on & straighten my hair.

Girl I appreciate what you're doing but you need to get organized. Trying to watch this video to the end was getting painful. Write yourself a script and follow it. Moisture is they key to good hair. The more you use intense heat on your hair the more damge you will do and NO shampoo and conitioner will fix it. Once the keratin is shattered inside the strand its over.

yea i had problems w/ 2 in 1 shampoos. I read somewhere that its not good for african american hair cause its makes it even more dry.

glycerin doesnt really make your hair moist what it does is it goes on your scalp/skin and locks in everything ,toxins, dead skin, ect whitch can cause infectsions. plus it doesnt allow exygen in your skin.

I love natures gate it doesnt have sls in it of glycerin!

from what i can tell, the peppermint and rosemary herbs are supposed to be steep with boiling water. kinda like steeping tea. and then add only the water to your glycerine and oils. boiling the herbs extracts all the good stuff. but i agree the oils may be easier.

i've learned that there is synthetic glycerin, animal fat glycerin and the vegetable glycerin which is the best! so i would stick with the vegetable glycerin since its said to be more effective.

well you can define your curl if your hair is natural however if you have a relaxer your hair probably wont curl unless you used a really light relaxer...i like kinky curly curling custard because its an all natural gel that makes your curls pop! lol ive heard good stuff about fantasia ic gel...another non-natural product is SHINE mousse...deep conditioning natural hair always brings out curl definition also

you can use the giovanni tea tree triple treat shampoo instead of the nature's gate stuff. giovanni is completely organic, none of that weird stuff! you can find it pretty much anywhere, i bought my giovanni shampoo from the grocery store.

vegetable glycerin is more sticky than regular glycerin also regular glycerin is more impure and comes from animal fat
