  • That onw came out pretty good

  • Thanks for all the wonderful comments. In answer to your many questions - the x and o's are so the kids can keep track of turning them each day. Also - yes we do release tnem into their natural habitat. We don't eat them.

  • chick on the right: get outta your shell. dont make me get u out.

chick in shell: alright, alright-geez- *kicks chick on the right* there u happy? X) cute . thank you for sharing this wonderful video

  • fantastic,cool,amazing

  • My god. I can't believe I eat eggs sometimes...

  • @longshanlung LOL. It's not like you're eating unborn fetuses. :P The eggs we eat aren't fertilized.

  • @MoogieSRO

    :|

  • @MoogieSRO The eggs we eat are basically the chickens period....haha gross

  • @kmaculate Mmm, not exactly... the egg itself is an extremely tiny thing in what we humans think of as a "period". I mean, that word evokes images of mostly blood and mucus, doesn't it? That's the shedded lining of the uterus, not the egg at all. When we eat chicken eggs, all of the gory uterine matter is cleaned off thoroughly. What we're actually consuming is the same nutritional sac that a baby bird uses as food while it's growing inside the egg. Designed by nature to be yummy! :)

  • I love how they help each other get out of the eggs.

  • yum, they'll grow up to be a good meal after some fun with a gun!

  • @FisandCram D:

  • Playin' eqq tick tack toe ?

  • that is the same incubator i have to hatch my pheasents

  • I used to raise pheasants too. They're easy to hatch, but difficult to raise all the way to adulthood...

  • where do you get these?

  • awwh what amazing birds! :)

It's great your kids are getting involved too! :)

  • i had chicks in 2 second grade

  • the x and o s means female and males?

  • lol how do you see if its a male or female before it's hatched? maybe they've got 2 species or pheasants hatching

  • @gerjanplate u cant u wont know till there older because roosters( MALES HAVE MORE COLORES

  • @idunnosia all eggs have both an X and O on them. its so that you can turn them over... the mother bird would usually do it but when shes not around you have to turn them over so they get warmed on both sides, and thats how you keep track of which side theyre lying on.

  • interesting

  • @idunnosia no

  • They look very much like baby guineas when they hatch. Great video. Thanks! :)

  • Wow you must be an expert at taking care of these birds from the hatching stage.

  • y r they marked?

  • They are marked x and o so that the kids can keep track of turning them over each day. Thanks for watching!

  • @carolmarit thanks for the tip, i thought you only had to turn them once every 2 days.

  • @zubbie2 so you know which side is which when you flip them to. you flip them so the yoke does not settle to one side

  • is killer

  • Hello, and great video. Your pheasants are awesome. do you know what incubator you were using. thanks

  • they r cute now but when they r bigger they will be someones supper lol no offense to anti hunters

  • thats very nice

  • aww so cute! esp. when they were helping each other hatch hehe.

i remember when we incubated chicks in elem. school. or maybe we had butterflies. um... i forget. pretty sure we did chicks though, they were so cute!

what's with the markings on the eggs?

  • I hope they will not be used for shooting when they grow up.

  • Used for shooting?? wtf

  • Pheasants are used for shooting they breed them in thousands, and have shoot days. they shoot them with shotguns in the air. it costs about 25-30 pound each to shoot a phesant

  • what kind of pheasant r they?i had ring neck they taste like chicken

  • LOL

  • they are verry pretty when they are adults.

  • i hatch gamecock to but pheasants are cool to

  • Is it legal in your state?
