Ani forgets, or will never get, that her mom was ditched and she had to raise her child on her own. It is very difficult to raise children, especially alone. Of course her dad was the fun one, he was unencumbered

@edeananda I don't think that's what she meant. I think that the song is about acceptance of what is. and about forgiveness. and it's about her experience. I get the impression from her talking that her dad was a part of her life.

It is unusual for Ani for sure but all guitar players do. She is great. She plays mostly Alvarez guitars. I have a Martin and a Gibson. I love the way she plays.
