Hi. Great video. I came across your video while researching youtube for an ssd for my macbook pro 13 inc 2010 model. I have narrow my search between intel, ocz and crucial, but I'm still confuse as to what features to look for as far a durability and performance is concern. As you have had your drive for a while now have you experienced any issues with your drive? Also, any recommendations. Your comments will be appreciated. Thanks.
The SSD that I wanted cost $10,000 before tax, it was a 2TB pci-e 8x SSD. 700mb+ read 400mb+ write. So I settled with a tiny 30gb Kingston to use a paging drive since I write very large files from time to time.
2010 SSD FYI : I recently moved this drive into a new Unibody 13" MacBook - and it's performing even better since my old Macbook only had a SATA I drive controller chip. Compared to the hell I've been through with spinning-platter drives dying and getting bad sectors and whatnot over the years, this SSD drive has behaved flawlessly since I got it. It. Just. Works. FAST!
How much money you got? :) The larger capacity SSDs - especially in the upcoming 3.5" and PCI-e slot drives -- they're in a RAID config. So they may be using 2 or 4 drives to get users to a Terabyte or beyond.

It's still not a DISC drive, because it's not containing any DISC in it. SSD - Solid State Drive, and NOT Disc Drive like a HDD, Hard DISC Drive.

Yeah that's the only issue for me, they get rather expensive once you pass 60 gigs.
