"Winger" on the "Metal Show" and the hosts said a lot of stuff I agreed with. Winger took a lot of crap but these guys were incredibly good looking in the 80's and they came across as Chipendale dancers on stage. It doesn't help when you do a video thats's supposed to be a "live" representation of the song and the bassists is spinning and playing with the bass not playing the bass. "PULL" was a great record I love and listen to it to this day but come on guys you did a lot of damage urselves

To whoever said they thought this second Winger album was "dumbed down" and began showing a lack of originalty - I couldn't disagree more. Winger has evolved with each album and this one showed a progression from pop metal to a more progressive sound. Just listen to Rainbow in the Rose. Easy Come and Can't Get Enough were added last minute b/c Atlantic wanted more radio friendly stuff but the rest of the album is considerably more sophisticated than the first.

I look at this record (and song) as the beginning of the end for them. Just as Firehouse's second was the same. The songs started to lose the originality and amazing qualities. They ran out of ideas and faded away by the next album. But of course the first record by Winger/Firehouse showed so much promise. It's a shame bands lose their edge and dumb down their sound to sell records. Then get tossed aside and forgotten except for hardcore fans.

It was musicians like this that made people want to learn to play. Not that I am a HUGE Winger fan, all of these guy are great musicians, which a lot of 80's bands can't claim. Most of the hair bands had one, and at most, two good musicians that could carry an average band. Beavis and Butt-Head killed Winger...lol.

It may seem a tad cheesy, but, this song and all the other hair or glam bands always kept it upbeat, you can't help but be in a good mood listening to this. Agreed. I was in h.s. during this time period, and I loved that Grunge and early 90s alternative came around with more serious subject matter, but it went overboard. Back then, the marketing tool was promoting a party and good times, now it's the total reverse. Seems the more angsty you are, the more likely your chance to get a record deal.

The whole band was great. Everybody looked like they were having the time of their lives. Those were the best days for music and musicians. Rod Morganstein always looks like hes having so much fun. I have never seen a photo of him playing where he wasn't grinning like a cheshire cat! Its almost enough to make you put your guitar down and take up the drums. *sigh* I miss those days.
