Most visitors don't know he has new cd out in the stores!!. Fans, pass the word to friends. His cd is not promoted much but hopefully he can do concert/tour soon. What counts in the end is whether a song sticks in your head. This song sticks in my head. I love singing the chorus in the shower. It's memorable. I agree though that his falsetto needs to be used sparingly cause its not his strongest place vocally. But David is just starting out as a songwriter so I'm cutting him lots of slack. There are some really interesting things going on in "Elevator" that tell me there is writing talent there that will continue to bloom.

Yeah, I agree with some of you: This is not that great for me, either. It is a grower, however. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. I like it more now. I think this song is more like Running from his first album. It was great after several listens but not during the first time. I can't wait for the whole album. Have you guys pre-ordered? There's a bonus track if you do. I like where this album is going so far.

It's ok, MassKid, you're not a fan of David. This song, David said, this came out of a dream he had, was just for fun, quirky... He can relate to this one and it's one of his favorites in the album. The Other Side of Down is going to be an album to be die for. When I first heard the acoustic version, I wasn't sure, but this studio version is great. Its so David. The first album only had like, two months to be put together, and this album has been worked on for a year and half, allowing him a lot more writing time, and to put himself on there :)

I love this song! I'm excited about it! I even love it more than Something Bout Love. My only disappointment is that this studio version is missing the nice little run on the last 'butterflies' that he's been adding in lately with his live performances of Elevator. I love that bit so badly! But this studio version also has nice extras in it that the live performances don't. LIke at 1:44 - 1:47 . I also think the background vocals really complement the song. The beat and vibe is awesome.
