I've pretty much been skating the same parking lot for 10 years and mostly I skate alone. People would always ask "don't you have friends?" or "don't you do anything else?" I tell em it's my passion and all I need to have a good time. I have no older sibling to look up to or anyone else for that matter in the skateboarding world. I feed off of my own progress. Learning one trick inspires me enough to want to learn another.

@adrianadio Oh yeah. When there's nothing but you and a board, all there is left is to skate. There's less distraction that way and you excel quicker than anyone else. Not only that, when its just you, it gives you the chance to ignore what everyone else does and play with different ideas and get creative. It leaves you with a real distinct and special style of skating. That's how Mullen got to where he's at today.

People get all caught up on the recent tricks and styles but just skate and get creative man. THAT is how you get perfect your style :) Rondey Mullen is a perfect example
