Audi A4 review

Although the interior may not be Mercedes quality, and the driving fun may not be BMW quality, I think the A4 is a very nice entry level luxury car. It's definitely the prettiest of the three (C Class, 3 Series, and A4), and it's also the cheapest. An A4 is the cheapest way to get a German AWD car, and that's nice.

I've own a few of these and the new interior is a big let-down. The quality is not as nice as before. I'd skip and go to the A6.

@shwndh yes,that's true.I touched the interior surfaces and it's awful,only certain areas where they have high qualities but in most of the parts,the plastic is so awful,even worse than Korean cars

I agree with all that, but honestly, I can't justify snubbing the 3 series for a car that drives like a V6 Accord.

A4 interior is better than BMW 3 series, pre-facelift Mercedes C Class, Infiniti G37 and on par with Lexus IS. It's just what this segment is, are you expecting Rolls Royce?

I have the 6 speed without the active steering sport option. The wheel feels a little loose for my comfort, it takes a while for you to really feel how the car operates. Still is a pretty good car though.

theres a selection wheter u want comfort or sport,choose da sport for heavier steering which is more stable

The a4 has more room but the interior quality is bullshit. Its a scam that audi has sucked everyone into. When you feel the materials on it compared to a bmw you will know. Its the same shitty materials as VW.

@mutsicelanders11 I entirely agree with you. I test drove one with the LED lights. The only good thing was the exterior (LED Daytime lights). I also drove a BMW 320d and a Mercedes C-Class. The Audi's interior materials were pure shithouse, as you mentioned. The buttons are especially cheap!

@mutsicelanders11 Actually....you have no idea what you're talking about. You probably never even saw the A4 in person, not to mention sit in it. The materials in cockpit are better than in any car in class, and the whole thing is put together better than all rivals as well.

Type into google.."myth about a4 interior". You also have no idea what you are talking about. The steering on audi's are lifeless except for the r8 which i have yet to test drive. Its not pin point like a BMW and does not have the same feel. And the v6 is shit compared to BMW's inline 6.

The old i-drive was shit. I have a 2009 and the new i-drive is easiest to use. Your trashing BMW and you have no clue what you are talking. MMI is the most counter intuitive piece of garbage. The center console has 342343454 buttons and takes forever to figure. I am a fan of all German automobiles and i can see that you are bias and jerk off to audi

after having driven it for 6 months, its a good care, but For those over 6-4 like myself it's a litle uncomfortable, the wheels get very dirty from the brake dust very often so you'll have to clean it up. My last complaint is that for the fully loaded price it does not come with Navigation.

My parents are trading in their '07 GL450 for either this car, a 3-series (because of BMW's "great" maintenance program), or the C-Class (because they've always owned a Benz). Any idea on which one is best? Maintenance-wise, because they're already sold on how the A4 looks.
